Woah, those are some bad dudes.

Wonder why/how they set it up so that it looks like everybody on the flight died.

So I wonder if those guys are actually after Ben because of all the dead Dharma people...

Though it's interesting that they were picked because of connections to the flight...

Yeah, basically the show hurts your head.

And the whole polar bear in Tunisia thing....yeah my head ouch.

Poor Sayid. To make it off the island and still have Ben own his ass.

And that temporal shift around the island is really hurting my head.

I'd say the show is really back on form now that they can write for the whole story arc rather than killing time stretching the story out. I'm really liking it so far.

Michael is Ben's man on the boat. Just a guess.

Who was the guy who came to visit Hurley in the mental hospital???????

It's Matthew Abaddon, client of the 4 strangers, that came to the island.

Michael is Ben's man on the boat. Just a guess.

Yep, also mine! ;)

So its question time again:

We now have 4 Oceanic survivors: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid. Who are the last 2?

Or are there 2, because would Ben count?

Hurley apologised to Jack for not going with them initially, so is he the only one of Locke's ganag who made it off the island?

Could they really be so evil as to kill off the baby?

With Sawyer saying he wanted to stay, will that mean that some of them get to stay and don't have to die?

Who were the people that Sayid was killing?

Why was he killing them?

Why are The Rescuers each looking for different, none Oceanic, people? (Ben, Desmond)

What happened to Walt & Michael? Did they ever get away?

Whats with all Ben's random passports? And why the secret room with all the clothes & identities?

Why was Desmond at the beach? I thought they had all split between Jack & Locke? Was he there on his own? Or are there more of them at the beach?

Why does the magic house keep moving?

Why, when the missile took over half an hour longer to reach the island than it should have done, would the phones be answered almost immdiately?

We now have 4 Oceanic survivors: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid. Who are the last 2? - Someone mentioned Jin & Sun.

Or are there 2, because would Ben count? - He doesn't count cause he is not an "Oceanic".

Hurley apologised to Jack for not going with them initially, so is he the only one of Locke's ganag who made it off the island? - Something strange, why would Hurley apologize to Jack, if Locke was right about the people that came to the island. Isn't it Jack who should apologize?

Could they really be so evil as to kill off the baby? - I don't think so.

With Sawyer saying he wanted to stay, will that mean that some of them get to stay and don't have to die? - Sawyer stays on the island, cause he doesn't have nothing to go back for. Also he tells to Kate, that he will try how long to stay alive on this island.

Who were the people that Sayid was killing? - I guess they were people, that knew about the island and how to get there, so they were people that Bens wants to be dead.

Why was he killing them? - Cause Ben told him to do it. It looks like Ben is blackmailing him with something. I guess it's about Nadie, his old girlfriend.

Why are The Rescuers each looking for different, none Oceanic, people? (Ben, Desmond) - Not known until now.

What happened to Walt & Michael? Did they ever get away? - Walt defenitly didn't get away. You can see him in the last episode of season 3 and in a Missing Piece. (Missing pieces: http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2008/01/lost-mobisodes-final-recap-and-thoughts.html - Missing Pieces "Room 23"). I guess Michael is the spy on the boat, what Ben is all time talking about.

Whats with all Ben's random passports? And why the secret room with all the clothes & identities? - That's the reason why he get off the island without any problems. He has ID's all over the world and he wont be recognized.

Why was Desmond at the beach? I thought they had all split between Jack & Locke? Was he there on his own? Or are there more of them at the beach? - Desmond stayed at the beach awaiting the boat coming. Jack sent Juliet to watch after Desmond.

Why does the magic house keep moving? - Good question!

Why, when the missile took over half an hour longer to reach the island than it should have done, would the phones be answered almost immdiately? - It looks like time is running faster on the island. Something strange at least.

Walt in Through the Looking Glass could be just a manifestation of some sort, just like in Abandoned, where Shannon and Sayid saw him.

And Room 23 took place during the period Walt was captured by The Others.

The first 3 episodes of this season were awesome:cool:

13 episodes in total... not that much... but still better than just 8.

And it means no more filler episodes! (although Lost-filler episodes are still pretty good:smug:)

And I think that Michael is the man on their boat. Although it's predicable, it's still cool.

Michael is Ben's man on the boat. Just a guess.

:sneaky: Exactly what I was thinking!!!

Here's my theory: TIME TRAVEL.

oh crap. I forgot to watch the new episode! abc.com is my savior.

Hurley apologised to Jack for not going with them initially, so is he the only one of Locke's ganag who made it off the island? - Something strange, why would Hurley apologize to Jack, if Locke was right about the people that came to the island. Isn't it Jack who should apologize?

.

the Hurley bit was in a flash forward, once they'd left the island, so i guess i'm asking what happens between this episode and them leaving which would make Jack right after all.

I never thought of Michael being the man on the boat.

Next episode looks intense with all the helicopter stuff.

Yeah, I'm also looking forward to the next episode, the last wasn't thaaat nice in my oppinion. Just the last sentence, like always. :D

I'm dying to see how many pages of questions jenjie has this week :laugh3:

Specially for Ian, some more questions. I suppose I ought to start answering the ones I've posted previously as the answers come up too :stunned:

Answers?

What does future Jack want future Hurley to keep secret? Possibly that Aaron isn't Kate's baby but was Claire's. Or maybe that it was Jack that save everyone? Or that more than 8 survived the crash itself? (I'm sure they mentioned 8 original survivors in the court, but I'll have to check)

We now have 4 Oceanic survivors: Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid. Who are the last 2? Is Aaron number 5?

Whats with all Ben's random passports? And why the secret room with all the clothes & identities? Has to be some sort of master criminal for Miles to think it was worth trying to extort $3.2 million from Ben

Okay, so I answered 3 questions with more questions  and I have new questions

New Questions

What happened to the helicopter?

Is the toddler, Claire's Aaron, or has Kate had a baby and called him that?

Why would Jack not want to see Aaron? Going back to the above question possibly because a) he feels guilty that Claire went with Locke & something happened to her or b) he thinks/knows its Kate's baby and thinks the Dad is Sawyer?

Why is Locke becoming more and more like Ben? Some of the things he said & did this episode seem very Ben-like

Thats about it from this episode. Didn't seem to be any earth-shattering revelations except possibly at the end, and not many questions answered either.

I want some answers godamnit

I guess future Jack wants future Hurley to keep secret about the whole big lie. Apparently they´re telling everyone that only 8 people survived the crash (2 of them died later, remaining the famous Oceanic´s six), which we all know wasn't the truth. There are big rumours that Jin and Sun complete the Oceanic's six team (because they´re the other two who have flash forwards scheduled this season, except for Ben, Juliet and Desmond, who aren´t Oceanic's). On the other hand there are rumours that Jin is going to die, so I don´t know since I'm not sure if little Aaron counts.

I guess some survivors stayed in the island and, as said before in this thread, future Ben is blackmailing future Sayid to kill people who know how to get to the island in order to keep his friends safe. I wonder if future Hurley and future Jack want to get back to the island only because they will be disappointed with their future lives or also because they can´t live with the guilty of having left their friends behind.

Ok, now my head hurts. Like really truly seriously hurts.

I mean, I've loved time travel plots all my life, I really have. I've seen so many. I'm in the middle of a Doctor Who obsession. I'm used to them. Normal time-travel paradoxes don't usually get to me. But THIS? THIS takes the cake. I can't even keep it all straight at all anymore. I mean, is he changing the past, or was the past always like that, but then why wouldn't he remember being like that in the past, and so shouldn't the inbetween be completely shredded by this point? And if you die while your in the past or do you only die in the present or.... And will he ever remember the present again? The communications officer remembers his present- he told them about it. But then he also wasn't in the hatch... owowowow. Desmond can't die. They've already taken Charlie they can't take the cute scottish guy too- it would be cruel beyond words.

I'm babbling, aren't I? See, this is what I mean. I don't even know what questions to ask anymore my head hurts so much. That is one freaky little island.

That honestly was one of my favourite episodes of LOST yet. Amazing.

no questions because, to be honest, my head is screwed. that was one killer of an episode.

the only thing i got from it is the island is hidden by some sort of radioactive force-field which causes things to shunt around in time, but only their consiousness, not the body.

and i think, that because Des got to speak to Penny, he's now safe & his time travel has stopped.

but OUCH OUCH OUCH my head hurts. What I want next is an episode which flows nice & uncomplicatedly with some answers & no more questions or head-wrecking things

oh, and i loved the end where he got to talk to Penny, that was cool

I'm feeling a little like that rat.

Wow! I loved it! Fascinating episode! Brilliant, exciting, touching wow wow wow!

Back on Earth, I think these events were based on Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). The authors once said the name Faraday was actually a big clue and indeed it fits perfectly.

"TMS works on principals of electrical current established in the last few centuries. In 1831, Faraday discovered that a rapidly changing magnetic field can induce electrical current in a nearby conductor. In 1985 this principle was used to induce twitches in humans' arm and leg muscles.

Scientists have used the device to perform research that messes with the mind. All perception and thought is based on electrical activity in the brain; mess with the current and you mess with perceptions and how thought is processed. A magnetically stimulated reality or a natural reality: It makes no difference to the brain.

[...]Subjects, who were exposed to a specific series of pulses from TMS, described feeling an invisible presence near them or feeling connected to the whole world. Persinger believes that naturally occurring magnetic interference could be at the heart of mystical experiences and a whole host of paranormal phenomena, ranging from ghosts to alien abductions[...]"

What I found amazing was that there was no "teletransport", it was all about mind trips!
