January 31, 200818 yr OK, here's my situation. In September, the ultimate in LOSER neighbours moved in. Some of you have already heard this, so, sorry if it's a repeat. They deal drugs, thereby having ppl at their door waking me up day and night. They fight non-stop at top volume. He calls her things I won't even post here because we have minors on the forum, but slut and whore are the nicest things he calls her. Now that I've called the police for about the fifth time, he's decided to 'punish' me for it by stomping on the floor (my ceiling) all night and calling me the same things he calls his wife... IT'S UNBEARABLE!!!!!! I can't afford to move, nor should I have to, since he's being the jerk here. Earlier he threatened to hurt my cat, which the cops don't take seriously. All his threats toward me are veiled enough that I can't press charges... I'm a hostage in my own home. I don't dare let my cat out. I can't sleep. I'm freezing cold all the time because he keeps opening the hallway door (he lives upstairs, so I'm the one losing heat and paying for it.). There's my rant. I know noone can really help, but I can't exactly deal with it at 2:45 a.m., so this is as good as I can do. Anyone know how to make a home-made taser?????
January 31, 200818 yr you live in a house or an apartment?? I can't really help but I sorta have the same issue with one of our neighbors. They stole my car.. I'm pretty sure it was them but I have no evidence  and I think they also sell drugs...they never bloody sleep! There's always someone or people yelling outside at 3am. Every time we go out we have to let the other neighbors know because they are always outside just waiting to get inside the house. I also had this damn dude ring the doorbell at 5am in the morning! 5 AM! He wanted money! Can you believe that crap? Now I have to close all three doors and I always have to be looking back whenever I get home late.
January 31, 200818 yr Author I live in a row-house, and he's right next door to me. OMG! I feel your pain, Woman! At least they can't steal my car since I don't drive. That really sucks for you, and I'm genuinely sorry to hear it. I guess I should turn this into a 'bitch abut bad neighbours' thread so we can all vent. It actually helped me a bit.

It actually helped me a bit. yeah they stole it after Halloween and I know it was them 'cause I was outside and then I walked inside and about 3 hours later it was gone.. ggggggrrrrrrr!:veryangry2: Anyway, I haven't gotten a new car... and like I said, this damn dude came and rang my bell at 5AM! I was so upset... I'm still a little upset just from remembering argh!
January 31, 200818 yr Author Ha! A few days after I phoned the police for about the third time, this a**hole had the nerve to knock on my door and bum a smoke! Like he never did anythig wrong. He really doesn't get that other ppl exist!
January 31, 200818 yr Well at least these guys are not next to my door... they are a couple of houses down but they are a pain. You know what the police told us? He said to get a gun.. wow:rolleyes: Well honey, I actually have to go.. I have to catch up on my sleep 'cause I actually have to find a way to manage everything and manage to get some sleep. I haven't been sleeping that well.. well see I try to get some sleep 'cause I know I'll be busy the next day but then since I'm up the whole entire day and night...whenever I do try to sleep..I just can't simply fall asleep and I don't want to take sleeping pills 'cause well I'm scared to take that. I sound like I'm stressed out :laugh3: Have a good night, Tracie or try to have a good night:\
January 31, 200818 yr Start taking pictures of everyone that comes to their place to buy drugs. Then print some out and post them out on the streets all over town. If they drive there, include a nice snap of their plate numbers and car. Maybe all you helpful publicity will inspire him to relocate his business. ;)
January 31, 200818 yr Get a recording of police siren. Next time he has several "customers" there, blast it as loud as you can, then go bang really hard on his door to bum a smoke acting casual like ...."siren noise...nope I didn't hear anything"
January 31, 200818 yr Goodness... :stunned: That is awful. Can't your landlord do anything about it or do they want to stay out of it all?
January 31, 200818 yr Author The camera advice is good, but due to the layout of this place, you couldn't take pics without being seen. And as for knocking on his door, NO WAY! BEsides, he's more than used to the sound of sirens, lol. I think they're like music to him by now. The landlord dosn't speak much english, so he's hired a lawyer to handle the bastard's eviction. It's going to take weeks at best, and I've had nother 3 hours sleep because he pounded on his floor right over my head this morning screaming 'wake up, fucking whore!' at the top of his lungs. UGH! This is abuse! I hope Jo managed to get some sleep.
January 31, 200818 yr I wouldn't even bother sorting this out, guys who deal in drugs have many friends who will make your life even worse. You say you can't afford to move but sounds to me you might have to.Can't you find a similar priced flat somewhere else?
January 31, 200818 yr Author ^Nope. I was amazed to find this one. It was about $200 cheaper than any other apartment in town...probably why these losers can afford it to,lol. I don't like messing with dealers and their friends, but a. it's only pot, which here isn't as dangerous a business as in the US, and b. being a musician, I have some friends of my own that are...er...questionable. (I've left off telling a couple of my friends about it since their solution would be a voilent one...much as I'd love to break the guy's face right now, that won't help anything...will it?:wink3:)
January 31, 200818 yr Yeah my solution would also involve violence,a sharp knife,or if you have a gun, that would be even better! People like that are the scum of the world!! I say get some of your more questionable mates to intimidate him. If that fails, kidnap the bugger and throw him into the middle of the ocean.. :D
January 31, 200818 yr Author I'm not ruling out the questionable friends. As for the gun, I'm legally blind, and even if I wasn't, it's not easy to get a gun here. (although I could get one on the street, but guns really aren't my style.) I have a friend who knows how to make tasers. Could come in handy! OMG! I'm saying this stuff on an open forum. Just for the public record, I'M NOT GOING TO KILL MY NEIGHBOUR!:lol::lol: But the taser is really tempting!
January 31, 200818 yr I'm sure you could borrow a gun from a friend..:sneaky: You don't need to use it on him, just point it in the direction of the noise and fire of a few rounds..:laugh2:
January 31, 200818 yr Ah Tracie....this sounds like such a terrible situation. :( No matter how you handle this problem, PLEASE be safe! I don't think that threatening this guy is really going to change anything, so I dearly hope you can get him evicted somehow. What a scumbag and complete waste of space.
January 31, 200818 yr Author ^ I agree. Threats and violence won't solve anything...but a girl can dream, lol. ^^ My luck, the shots would bring the cops and I'D get arrested! (Hmmm...but air rifles are legal...hmmmm...) I have this philosophy that no matter how bad a person is, there's something good to be found in them. That every life is sacred, and as important as my own. But this guy's made me rethink it. He's human waste on 2 legs...the epitome of 'White trash'. The upside is that today was the first sunny day in a long time, and if I'd not been awakened, I'd have slept through it. So I got one good thing our of it.
January 31, 200818 yr Yeah, there must be something you can though,it sounds unbearable,i get pissed off when they neighbours next door make noise,so your situation must be 100 times worse!!
February 1, 200818 yr more than you really wanted to know.. I know - more advice!:laugh3: I would go to the Canadian equivalent of the FBI or ATF, if the police are in on the drug money, etc. I know of one retired policeman from Milwaukee who told me of such things, and I was saddened to hear how bad things had gotten.. My bet is the monster you are dealing with wants to mess with you / hold power over you by trying to drive you nuts. If they get you upset, and you show it, then he (or they) have gotten what they wanted. Best to lay the law down in no uncertain terms, but you will need some backing. So, here's where those good friends can help! Just give him a clear understanding, like a teacher or police officer has to do on occasion, and back it up. If he's totally nuts, he will just keep on with this behavior, and then something drastic enough has to happen to wake him up. I'm betting that turning the power off would help (once again, there's safety in numbers). If all else fails, you should be able to get the interest of the Canadian ATF, FBI, or SWAT team in your area.. But I suppose this could get some innocent by-standards in trouble.. Hmm.. well, a good foam fire-estinguisher helps. If all else fails, stay with some friends until you can get a safer place. :\
February 1, 200818 yr Author I've called them in the middle of a deal, but whoever is buying is only there for a couple of minutes, and noone answers the door when the cops show up. Either that or they act all innocent til the cops go away, and then take it out on me the next day. The good news is I have a friend who is a parole officer...and really protective of me. Now that he knows, he's pulled Ron's file, and is going to the cops on my behalf kicking their butts to do something. I'm finally not alone. I mean, I have real friends, but until now, none could help, so I vented on the forum. NOW, I have someone on the inside!! Yesssssss! I'm not sure if anything's happened yet, but they've been quiet all day! ALL DAY! It's the first time in weeks. I'm almost scared to go to sleep since everytime I've tried, I've been cruelly awakened, but now's as good a time as any to try... Here's to 8 hours sleep...maybe...???
February 1, 200818 yr YEA!!! I'm glad to hear that you have someone who can make a difference, Tracie! Here's to some well-deserved rest!:snore::sleeping::pleased::sleeping2:
February 1, 200818 yr Author I SLEPT FOR 10 hOURS LAST NIGHT!!!!! Sorry. You think I'm nuts now, right? God I needed that sleep. Putting my bed in my living room apparently allowed me to sleep through the wake-up call...if he even did it. Thanks for being so supportive, guys.:)
