Batman
Hello people! I have a really annoying problem with DeviantArt, this Art-site. Sometimes, when you look at a picture there, you can increase its size. You just have to click on the picture and it will increase itself (or you click on this little 'Download' icon next to the picture, but this icon isn't always there). So now my problem: Always when I want to increase the picture, the site loads again, but the size of the picture doesn't change. It's still small. So I decided to look under the Properties of firefox, maybe they are some options which I have to deactivate. But I found nothing useful, and now I can't look at the pictures on DeviantArt in full-size  And when I want to look at some pictures of the artist in the gallery, there is just an empty deviantArt window. I hope you understand what I mean, I now my english is awful, but I didn't find any help on the internet, so please help me if you can!
coldspot
1. the icon for downloading the large image might not be their cause you page has stopped loading before it was suppose too (?) 2. I don't think the problem would be with ur browser, r u sure u r clicking on the right link 4 larger image? Try clicking on the actual image, either that or the image is already showing at the largest size possible. 3. the empty window, is it completely blank (click ur reload icon to fix that) or does it have an advert that almost takes up the whole screen? there should be a bit of text (a link) up top right, forgot what it ses, but click it and you will be redirected to the page/image you wanted to see. If u are a member, apparently that wont happen  Hope that helps....
Batman
I'm a member of this site, but this picture size problem started a few weeks ago -__- I made some pictures, maybe you can see now what my problem is http://norn-meeting.creaturesforum.de/Odd_Zealot/DeviantArtWindow.jpg ^It always looks like this when I'm clicking on a gallery of an artist http://norn-meeting.creaturesforum.de/Odd_Zealot/DeviantArtWindow2.jpg
RunForTheHills
Hmm, thats very strange. I have firefox and it works fine for me :S Try loading the page in IE7 (or whichever version you have) and see if it happens then. If it does, then there's something we need to sort out with firefox. If not, then I don't know. So try that, and tell me what happens. What version of Firefox are you using? And #if you're using any extensions or plug-ins, one of them might be causing the problem. Batman
I used the Internet Explorer. Fortunately there it works^^ Thank you for that. I'm so stupid sometimes, I didn't even thought about trying it out:lol: My Firefox version is 1.0.6 and I don't use any plugins, because firefox always fobids me to install something. RunForTheHills
I'm glad that worked for you. :nice: You said you use Firefox version 1 - try downloading the latest version from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html?product=firefox-2.0.0.12&os=win&lang=en-US Firefox2 has been out for a while now, and I really recommend you download it because it could fix your problem.
