i sympathize with your butt-pain: i was in a car for 4 hours today, and that was after taking a 2-hour long midterm in one of those really old fashioned wooden desks. not a good ass-day in our hemisphere, i would say.

 

i brought a chair to uni from home because i knew the wood ones in the dorm would kill me. so i've got a nice wheely quasi-leather one from ikea. but i sit on my bed mostly anyway.

and school chairs are indeed stupid. especially those in larger classrooms when you have to make an effort if you want to sit ....

I don't know how I sat for so long haha...I guess I kind of forgot how long I had really been sitting. After that I took more breaks ahha. I'm actually surprised I was focused for that long. Probably the longest my school attention span has ever been.

My history teacher has a little couch in his room and every day we switch off which two people sit in it! :nice: He's the best teacher i've ever had.

30 minutes! :stunned: I'm jealous. I used to have an attention span of about 10 minutes on good days before I graduated. Doesn't usually last 10 seconds anymore. Seriously I forget what I'm saying halfway through a sentence some days... :(

my math teacher (one of my best friends, actually) has the same thing! well, it's an arm chair, but we all get to sit on it on our birthdays etc.

 

i think wooden chairs are the worst--the plastic ones are slightly more comfortable IMO.
