Featured Replies

My friend just called me and told me that her boyfriend said i love you for the first time and she said it back but that she doesn't really mean it. Has this happened to anyone??

Yeah, when she told me i was like, "well, why the hell did you do that?". She said that she felt obligated to say it b/c he just stood there and stared at her. How terrible is that?

I wouldn't say "I love you" to somebody unless I meant it.

its terrible INDEED :( oo well...most people do that..bahh

l couldnt..its just wrong!

That's sad. I've never done it myself. This reminds me of that episode of Friends. 'Thank you.' heh heh

no i have never said it and not meant it. love is a strong word just like hate. don't say it without meaning it.

thank you. :)

i was just thinking that myself. :D

ah what do know. this is my 500th post...again.

exactly...i only said it to the FIRST person l love.... WHEN i meant it...and FELT it

i can think of two times i've said it and not meant it. come on now i was young and niave.

i have before, i dont really know why i did, it was kinda on accident if you can understand it, i guess most people will say it because saying "i like you" to someone doesnt sound right

it used to be a big deal to me to say that but i've said it so many times that it's almost meaningless to me now. it's an involuntary reaction because if i don't say it, my girlfriend makes a big stink about how she loves me and i don't love her, so it's easier to just say it even if i don't particularly feel that way at the moment (i do love her, so it's not like i never mean it, it's just that i hate having to say it back just because she said it first)

i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about.

Yes.

I said it to Kirsten Dunst in the movie, because it was written on the script.

Also, to a fan of mine, because she just wouldn't let me go.

my bf is the first guy i said i love you to and actually meant it and offcourse i have some friends who i love but its diffrent

NO WAY!!!! you mean...you never meant it when you said it to me???

ive said it twice..but only meant it once................ ......sorry  .......... :)

I would never come out with this phrase unless I meant it. To do it and not mean it is against the PRIME DIRECTIVE

You see, i think I said I l am loving to be saving you.

That one time I saved you.

But don't worry you're in my heart :-)

I've only said it once, to my first love, who is still my only love..but i've realized lately that i am not in love with her..i just love her the way anyone loves anyone they care for..she is the same way too, so it's not ever going to work..you have to be, and remain, in love i think, if you fall out there's really no point in saying it, your cheating yourself and the other person..but then i agree with tom, i don't know what the fuck i'm talking about, i'm new to this love stuff, i don't fall in love that often.
