That's terribly sucky. Medications can really be no fun, but thank god the stuff I took only made me vomit. I stopped taking it, but I did find this 3-step stuff (not Proactive) that helped it go away. It was great.

My mum had a bad acne when she was a teenager and i was very lucky because i didn't get it too.. My skin isn't totally clean but it's good enough.

yeah, i use that soap called acne aid and another cleansing water and another gel.

helps pretty well.

only made you vomit?!?! my god, i would say that's MUCH worse than what i had! yeah, it hurt not being able to smile or laugh for weeks, but vomiting is the absolute worst in my book. i'll do anything to avoid throwing up.

my mom was on acne medications when she was our age, and they destroyed the enzymes in her stomach so now she's severely lactose intolerant.

This has pretty much turned into the acne thread.

i dont even know how many posts i have. Probably something around 6,000

Look Briggsina, i have a whole gang ready to attack you..so just take your leather clothes and go shake your booty somewhere else!!

Acne was/is a problem for everyone, basically. But after my teen years (which were very embarrassing), I discovered that acne clears up somewhat if you eat less sugary sweets and fatty/oily foods. Also, less stress helps..(as though there's a cure for this!). Basically, sleep well, eat right, exercise, feel good, and worry less - less stress hormones, and then everything gets better in general. Nature knows best.;) (I know - sometimes that's impossible; but on average, it does help..)

My biggest problem now is dry skin (winter is a killer here for skin). I'm going to look into some more natural types of lotions, as the ones currently on the commercial market are loaded with some unhealthy chemicals. I'm leaning more towards the lanolin, coco butter, aloe vera types.. (my feet get dry too, and the skin "splits" occasionally - no fun to walk on!). Any suggestions?

You and whose army. I can take you all.
