March 31, 200818 yr In Canada, we have a show called the Ongoing History Of New Music that airs on many radio stations. the show covers various topics regarding Alternative Music, and its evolution. I thought I'd share their site with you guts...check out the podcasts!! http://www.ongoinghistory.com/oghonm/ongoing_history_of_new_music.cfm
March 31, 200818 yr Author I thought you'd like it. Alan Cross was the first programming director at CFNY (Now EDGE102) in Toronto. He played bands noone else would tough at first...you know, bands like Radiohead, lol.
March 31, 200818 yr haha, I'm listening to the Radiohead sessions. I'm sure I'll listen to lots more. It has everything!
March 31, 200818 yr Author I've listened to the show for years, whenever I could find it, but I never looked at the site until recently...it's LOVE!! Enjoy your 'net-crack,lol! Actually, if it wasn't for Alan, I'd have never known Chris Martin was a virgin til he was 22,lol.
March 31, 200818 yr I'm even learning some new Radiohead tidbits! Now the test will be the U2 shows...if I learn anything new then, well that will be amazing.
March 31, 200818 yr Author I'm not sure if the U2 20th anniversary show is on there, but I learned a hell of a lot from it.
March 31, 200818 yr :shocked2:Is this true? Does Disco Music cause homosexuality in mice, and deafness in pigs?? And if I'm a pig farmer - this could have serious implications! Sure, if I play disco, the mice no longer have big families, so there's less feed lost to rodents, but then my pigs won't come to the trough when I call them!:laugh3: Oh, lord n' butter, what's a pig farmer to do these days??:P
