Auch, your friend is very bad Indya.. she should respect your musical tastes as you do respect hers...

i just think that say things like that coldplay are old is just stupid.. most band members are on their 30's even their late 30's and girls are crazy about them...

i never heard about a well-known band whose members are in their 20's :inquisitive:

That's what my points been this entire time. That's all I wanted was her to respect me as I respect her. I do that for everyone. I don't run off into how much I hate them if I disagree with their taste. I think about what I say before I say it.

I agree with that as well. What frustrates me is how much she doesn't realize that.

Neither have I. How the hell can you talk about someone else's band's age when her the lead singer is older then all four of them? GOSH DAMN IT. :furious2:

I honestly think that I shouldn't let this affect me so much. :shame:

TELL HER HOW YOU FEELLLLLLLL

Doesn't work. Because I can tell by her body language, every time I do that, she could careless. She does it again. I should be nonchalant. I shouldn't talk to her and act like nothings wrong between us. Mix the two, throws her off.

She's....... She's capable of being nice, yes, she can be. She's helpful when other things are wrong with you besides what she doesn't care for. Yeah, I'll give credit when credits do, she is nice, but she still acts childish, as I would expect from most teenagers.

A lot of bands form when their members are young, but they don't split up as soon as a member turns 29,lol.

My best friend Barbara and I have many differences. I can't stand some of the music she loves and vice versa, but we enjoy our similarities rather than focus on the differences.

Good point. But, if that was the case, when could I ever talk about what I enjoy w/o her hating it so much? I can't only talk about what she wants to talk about. Most of the things she likes, I'm not into as much but every time I talk to her and she likes something that I don't, I don't turn around and say, "Ewwwwwwww!" because that's childish as well.

You know it's funny. The image I still permanently have of Coldplay is of the young (younger than me, anyway, even though they're older) gawky college kids they came across as the first time I ever saw them on tv. (which alas has never made it onto youtube)

Kinda weird seeing them so much older now. Time... it's a funny thing. Even without a TARDIS.

So do I. I don't understand how they're old. People can always find a way to make other people look bad even when they know it's not true.

When she's not picking on the things you like, do you enjoy being around each other? Friendship isn't just about liking the same things, but also just about enjoying each other's company.

Hopefully as she gets a little older herself, she'll begin to understand how unfair it is to base her judgement on age.

It's slightly hard to enjoy one's company when most of the time, you're angry.

You gave me an idea. I should tell her that she shouldn't base her judgment off of a person's age.

Hmmm.. What pisses me off the most? People who try and control others by going on fault-finding missions, and once they find a tiny mistake, use it as a battering ram to create a sense of guilt and disorder, and then they try and program their thoughts into your mind. Mind controllers piss me off.

My Mom pisses you off, Chuck???:o:lol:

Don't get me wrong, I love her, but she definitely has those moments.

Oh, so you have family like that too?:o:laugh3: I'll bet your Mom is just trying to be helpful!! I have a certain sibling (name withheld) who has a tendency to try and do just that to me. It's an attention thing. And a power trip. This sibling (again, name withheld) still supports Bush. Need I say more?:rolleyes4:
