The Radio Station Thread

Featured Replies

Sorry if this isn't a WoM topic, but it seems to go here. Just let me know if you move it,lol.

I just rediscovered WFNX, Boston's Alternative station. I used to listen to it when I visited friends or went to shows there, including the first time I saw Coldplay.

That and CFNY in Toronto are 2 amazing stations for new Alternative music.

So share your favorites...web, mainstream, satelite, whatever.

Still loving BBC 6 Music. I probably wouldn't like half of the kinds of music I do if it wasn't for Coldplay introducing me to the wonderful Steve Lamacq back when they did all the tour updates for him.

Such a great mix of stuff they usually play on there.

Virgin Radio

Wave 105 for the live shows they put on around the south.

i've been searching and searching

right now i listen to

q104.3- classic rock

107.1 the peak (which anna suggested)

and 101.9 which i'm starting to really like because i heard 3 different coldplay songs 3 days in a row

on sirius radio i listen to altnation (21) 90's alternative (24) and occasionally others

haha what's the point if i tell you my fave radio stations? they're not broadcasted on internet and only one's multilingual.

but i do like BBC stuff.

wxvufm.com

they play everything and everything, and you should especially listen to my show sunday nights at 7 ;)

Radio 1 during the Mark & Lard years.

Those 2 were great, always getting bands in the studio to play live, and played decent music.
