Violet Hill - physical release

Featured Replies

WOW! I hope they include some cool B-Sides on the commercial release.

I saw it on Amazon this morning by pure coincidence. That would be amazing! Can't wait to buying it next Friday!

There is a german EMI press release and it told that the single will be release as digital download and as a 2-track CD with the bonus track "Lost". Available in German stores on the next Friday, 9th May!

is the song called "Lost?" or "Lost!" ?? anyway... it looks like a promo cd, not a proper single... I'm happy if I can hear another song included in the album.. but didn't they record many other songs like glass of water or rainy day? I hope they'll choose different songs as b-sides

The promo CD and the commericial CD are different, the promo cd will have 1 track (Violet Hill) and should be internationally availible though only on eBay and record collecting sites like that. The other CD is German and is more or less a normal CD single with a preview of Lost as the b-side.

It wouldn't be fair to exclude certain regions from gaining certain b-sides hence no new ones with this release. Though I'm confident the next single (42?) will have a proper international CD release with proper b-sides.

"Lost?" ;-)
