Yeah :D

You and Semy got their first though. Hehe

didnt even think of that! maybe 'viva la vida' (as in the song) ends with this same synth sound that is in the beginning of violet hill. ahh i LOVE when songs flow into eachother...coldplay has never really done this!
They sort of half did it with White Shadows & Fix You, but I don't think it was all that successful. But it looks like its going to happen at least twice on this album ("Lovers In Japan / Reign of Love" & "Yes / Chinese Sleep Chant").

If you're disappointed in coldplay listen to radiohead, never disappointing.

The one thing that irked me about this song was the overuse of the synthesizer at the beginning. Sure 10-15 seconds of it is nice, but the intro lasts for about 40 seconds! And there aren't any memorable things about the intro. At least in Square One you had Johnny playing that 2001-ish (the movie, not the year) guitar riff. But this one was just 40 seconds of plain ambiance. Didn't really like that.

I'm pretty sure it's jonny playing the intro on his guitar with his effects and slide like in this video...

I thought the intro was one my favorite parts about the song, it really set the stage and it has a fraction more to it than plain white noise, also cool how it blends seamlessly intro the rest of the song. The fact that it's long makes it that much better, it's not ADD, it gives you time to sink in to the ambience.

But im so so so sad.The more i listen to the solo in V.H the more i cringe. Its just horrific. :-(

Horrific? how? It's very jonny, a modest simple highlight to the song. I like it, anyway.
