only one question which is where's the band from.

You can win two tickets, and play between June 4th and June 15th 2008. The draw will occur on June 16th.

Good luck ! :)

I have already worked at M6 and W9 belongs to it. However, i was a temporary help and it won't help. I won't even try but i'll give in at W9 to try to win 2 tickets.

May I ask a question? When did they call you? Because it said thait the winners will be contact the 16th...Maybe there's still hope

who ever won please post some information here for our all the other fans!

Of course guys I'm posting information, I would have loved to find some if I hadn't won.

So that girl from NRJ (and not W9 which announced the results would be on the 16th indeed) called me asking if I still wanted to see Coldplay as far as I played to win tickets. She told me to be at the Dock Hausmann at 17:15 on Thursday with a friend, I asked if I could come alone she answered that I HAD to tell her the name of the person coming with me and that if I wasn't giving her another name she wouldn't give my the ticket. So I asked her some time and she called me back later explaining she really needed those names on a list...

She said I would have to be there :

Dock Hausmann

50 avenue du président Wilson

93 La Plaine Saint Denis.

Actually that's pretty much all, she didn't repeat what was written on W9 website about identity card so I don't know if they're really going to check our identity.

I couldn't hear her clearly so I'm not sure I won thanks to the website game or thanks to the fact I sent like 20 or more smses and called the radio.

That's it !

I tried to find more about the venue and IT SEEMS that around 3000 people can fit in there, which is surprising cause it was written there would be 37(x2) winners on W9 and I think I heard 200(x2) on NRJ, so who else will be there ?

Don't wanna make you loose your time but maybe it worth the try of going there and wait till they let you enter, I don't know, good luck anyway !

I won the tickets too for the private concert here in Paris, but they did not ask me for the name of my friend. they just told me to show up with another person. And we have to sign a documetn allowing W9 to film and broadcast our images. thats all i was usked.

So... they'll perform during 50 min ?!

Oh ! Very good news cause I actually didn't give the right name of my friend :D

So that's why they want us to come that early ? I guess we'll have instructions and they'll probably take our phones off, as usual -_-

O-M-G I so have to write here my experience cause I wanna remember what I lived for a long time (the best part being what we won't see on tv)

So I arrived like 1 hour before the gig, few persons were already there, I made a joke about VIP people who could be ''stars'' from the French Idol before noticing one was precisely next to me, what a shame lol !

We signed a contract to allow them filming us for TV (funny point : the contract mentioned it was a ''Cold-Play'' gig... great)

We entered around 17:30 gave our names, phones and everything and they let us go in the venue around 18h.

Then a guy started to explain us we were not in a real concert but mainly ON TV so there would be rules.

It was great cause the stage wasn't high like in concerts venues, and there was NO barrier so we felt really close to the stage, I mean, yeah more than close : there was just a black line on the floor and they told us the main thing to do was not to cross the line at any moment.

They explained we were going to have lotsa things to film before the gig, like applauding, yelling, few times (with different lights and everything).

It lasted like 2 hours and was pretty exhausting. They explained we had to stay ''fresh'' and that we would film things in no special order, so we would have to applaud Coldplay as if it was the end of the show before it had even started.

Anyway it turned out to be a really nice experience :

While they were making us applaud for the 999th time we suddenly noticed the band was going down the stairs and I realised we weren't actually making lotsa noise before compared to the current craziness. They arrived and after staring at us Chris asked in the mic what they were supposed to do now :D

He added for us that he was sorry not to start straight away so we would have to be patient.

During the following 20 minutes the band was as confused as us with all those TV things, we all had to do pretty stupid things and the band, just like us, started to find it funny.

So a girl came on stage cause Chris was asking for help and explained they all had to take their instruments and do as if they were ending a song in order that they could pretend to do an interview in the middle of the concert.

Will made a really funny face like ''what the fuuuuuck'' and the other guys found the situation very funny.

Chris said it wouldn't seem real on TV cause he wasn't wet yet (and indeed he only needs 1 song to be wet XD)

It was amazing to live this as a Coldplay fan cause we were seeing them just like normal and surprised people and they were laughing just like us, and with us.

Chris was speaking to us as if we knew better than him what was happening, using the occasion to apologize for his ''bad'' french...etc

Anyway so Chris started to play bullshit on the guitar but realised he didn't really know what to do and the TV girl wasn't coming on stage so he stopped, probably feeling ridiculous and asked her when the hell she would join them on stage, then they were asked to try this again. So they played shit for 10 sec and we were all applauding this while laughing and the girl came on stage.

She asked them how was this french crowd and Will answered we were perfect or something like this which made everyone laugh.

Everything was quite ridiculous, but at the same time quite impressive, I mean I'm never going to see them like this again... amazing !

Then they were informed (still in front of us) that people in the venue were going to ask them questions, Chris laughed emphasizing that it would be long to answer 2000 questions (ok we were just around 400 ahah).

Anyway quite disappointing for fans cause those people were actually people chosen by the TV (belonging to the staff I guess) who had been put in the crowd just for this ''interview'' and left straight after the cameras stopped filming them.

The questions were quite the same as usual : why Viva La Vida, are you still gonna be there in 10 years, did you really see ghosts while working on the album (Chris answered they're living in an old part of London where sometimes you meet ghosts and sometimes you don't XD), why Delacroix...etc

The girl was translating what they were saying SOOO BADLY, quite hilarious.

Guy seemed like ''absent''(dreaming), I mean he was staring at the crowd a lot (he even stared at me which made me feel uncomfortable though I'm not those kind of guy-addict girls hehe) and when Chris spoke to him he didn't even react.

Jonny couldn't say a word, the girl totally ignored him.

Chris was sooo funny, making jokes and crazy faces, he asked to receive a question from a beautiful girl in the first rows, he was always staring at the person with the mic to let her know if the question was good or not by smiling or trying to look worried...

Anyway I totally loved that moment.

So she left the stage and told them they could start but when Chris was about to grab his guitar someone came to tell him ''6''; he seemed surprised that LiT has been taken off the setlist so we all yelled ''NOO 7...8...10... 20 !'' so Chris smiled and the girl had to come back explaining he really had to sing only 6 songs.

So, a little disturbed, he told us (always half in french half in english, sooo bloody cute) that now we could start but he was wondering how he could make as if they had just arrived on stage. Still a little lost, he asked for help from the girl, then we all started to yell and applaud in order to help.

He said ''Ok DIX... NEUF... HUIT...'' and we finished 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 in french cause he didn't seem able to do it ahah

And here it was, VH (which Chris missed at the end) !

I decided to act as if I wasn't on TV so I was jumping around and singing out loud. SOOO GOOD.

The sound was not really loud, I felt that it wouldn't be that cool at first but it turned out to be an interesting experience : closer to the band, closer to the music...

Well I can't precisely remember the setlist but as far as I remember Clocks followed. The staff had to move the piano so Chris spoke to us in french while it was happening, so so cute. Someone yelled ''I love you'', he answered that this person wouldn't love him anymore if she really knew him.

Clocks was awesome, we could clearly see how Chris was playing with the TV cameras, quite interesting. Then huuu I guess we had 42 and VLV, he spoke about Will, who's always in the background and would now came closer to the crowd. Everyone went crazy on VLV, even first row young girls who seemed to know that song only.

He started to sing a piece of The Scientist, we followed but he stopped saying they hadn't played this for 2 years.

So they finished with Fix You (oh my fucking god, awesome it's really different from a stadium concert).

He even came down the very-little-stage and sang just in front of us, beating the floor with his feet in a so intense way while we were jumping crazily, we could totally touch him but we didn't cause... hell we were on TV... though I was reaching heaven, I mean sprays of spit were actually landing on first rows, that illustrates how close we were and how much we felt like actors of the show too.

Chris thanked lotsa people in French and when he finished, a girl as crazy as I was turned to me an said ''ok 3 2 1 go'' and 3 of us yelled ''Merciii Coldplayyy'', Chris tried to turn his head in our direction and thanked us, wuh !

And last but not least Lovers in Japan, which I adored especially at the end : I knew there would be butterflies confettis but I didn't know about the fluorescent ones in the dark... was so magical !

While we were applauding our idols a girl arrived next to me and told us ''move move I want two groups, they're going to cross the crowd'' WUHUUUU

And indeed, they went down and walked next to us, I felt like it would be ridiculous to try to touch them so I let Jonny pass his way but everyone started to touch Chris and the other guys so I shamefully did the same touching their shoulders, I wasn't really thinking at this time, I was just in heaven XD

Took time to get out of the venue, I took few pics of the empty place and ''Coldplay boxes'' on which it was still written ''Brixton'' and left with few coloured butterflies :)

I'm sad I already forgot what Chris said to us cause he spoke a lot and it's not going to appear on tv, though it'll stay a very nice memory.

I apologize cause that review must be full of English mistakes but I lost a piece of my brain tonight :D

I FUCKING LOVE THEM XD XD XD

Amazing! Thanks for the info, glad you got to see them up close like that :D

thanks for this information Chris2 thankyou

so any photos and any videos to post please post them please.

we want to see them!
