xsarehardcorex
I'm sorry, I'm going to have to make a new thread every time I have an idea! Apologies also for the fact that I'm typing these tabs directly into the post. I can't seem to find (read 'pay for') a decent tabbing program that works with mac. Here goes: Strawberry Swing 1st time Coldplay curses (Guy seems to say "its a bit fucked") Tuned 1/2 step down, or tone for you Brits and Europeans. Jonny (w/delay) Eb|-0-2/5-2-0h2-0h2-0-2/5-2-0h2-0h2----------------------------------------------| Bb|---------------------------------------------0-2/5-2-0h2-0h2-0-2/5-2-0h2-0h2--| Gb|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Db|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Ab|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Eb|------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------| Chords sound like Ab Bbm Eb Then Chris joins in on the acoustic for the bridge Bbm Dbm x2 Ab Dbm Bbm D That plays you out, its in classic Chris Martin style, what with the thumb wrapped around the E string and the E and B strings open. Will update as the lightbulb above my head gets brighter.
Puzzling
I think it's nice to have one thread per song, so keep on going. A quick tip though - change the font to Courier New when posting tabs. This way all the signs have the same width. I normally write the tabs in a editor like notepad or gedit (linux) and then paste it here. I use the code tags when posting chords and lyrics, 'cause for some reason Courier New ignores multiple blanks/spaces: Am Em D This is a testing thing blablabla vs Am Em D [no matter how many spaces there are between the chords, you'll end up with just one space when previewing/posting] This is a testing thing blablabla I noticed someone putting dots (...) between the chords, which is another solution: Am........Em............D This is a testing thing blablabla Anyway, I'll check out your above chords later when I have the time (exams, yay).
