So last year I did The Scientist on piano with electric guitar in the background. This year its going to be Green Eyes with my singing and playing guitar and my friend playing backup. After that we will change right in to Viva La Vida with me jumping on the keyboard:D I love the song and learned it in 4 days. The talent show is on Monday June 9th. :thumbsup: that's the only way to learn if you really want it to stick to your mind...at least for me. I do resort to the music, abut only if I'm really stuck for a chord. It keeps your ear and your mind sharp.

 

Cudos to you, TSM, for learning VLV. I haven't even tried yet. I'm sure it's easier than it sounds with all the strings and extras, but I always learn best from acoustic versions, so I'm a little intimidated by VLV,lol.:embarassed:

hahaha hope its the best of all performances! wished here in argentina i had the chance to do that sort of things.. but unluckily, i have not, anyway; i'm sure i can play guitar somewhere.. lol

No, it's part of a live radio performance...I forget which one since there've been so many lately,lol. But it's in MM. They know people are going to record and share shows, and I doubt the band cares (though EMI probably does).

 

EDIT: Errr...duh! Actually, Lost? was the bonus track for the iTunes pre-order, so I guess it is piracy to download it...Sorry 'bout that. There have been so many new songs and performances to keep track of lately I'm starting to get them all mixed up.:lol:

My friend just got the ablum somehow on her IPod and she loves Lost.

 

Ok so we played and nailed it. Green Eyes was awesome and when we played Viva La Vida I made a little speak. I said this is Coldplay's new song on there new ablum comming out on june 17. I hope you enjoy it. People loved it. Plus I was sweeting like crazy and it was hot up there.

I'd love to show it, but it turns out no one video tapped anything. Even from last year. But me and my friend are going to be playing at a cafe kind of place in the summer and I am going to try to get a video camera to tap the whole thing and I will post that :)

ya try get a vid :D ...i did "have yourself a merry little christams" at my last concert.......not really a coldplay song but it was they're version of it i covered :D and im singing "viva la vida" for my advanced higher singing exam :D
