Im having trouble understanding why this band has creates all this reverence i dont usually bother adding content to forums im not interested in but why are you so overwhelemed by such a dull band. Dont get me wrong i've had my cold play moments , V 2001(i think) they had less than 500 people in the crowd and yellow was superb outshining other band on at the same time. Please spend your time and valued money searching out less tired and more exiting music and forget the hype. Cold play maybe great for when your cat,dog or nan dies but its lowbrow and selfindulgent.

Coldplay's music is more "exciting" to me then any other music out there... Hardly 2 or 3 of their songs are dull

it's funny how he's(or her) is even signed up here. Who takes the time, to go to a place they dislike, sign up, and tell everyone who likes someone you dislike, how stupid they are. makes no sense to me.

I don't understand why people try to convince others of what music they should or should not listen to. Listen to what you want and shut the hell up!

Yes, they're overplayed in the extreme because radio stations these days are terrible like that. It's why I don't listen to the radio anymore- so I can enjoy their albums.

 

I go through about 3 or 4 new bands/albums a week. Lots of genres, lots of styles... everything from Wintersleep to Modeselektor to Jenn Grant. Coldplay are still my favorite because they're so beautiful and moving and if you think they're bland then 1.) It's not your style, so don't listen and stop complaining and 2.) You missed something.

*sigh* Ben and Jerry's is almost impossible to find around here. And it's prohibitively expensive when you do. And even then there's only one or two flavors, so I've never had many of the interesting ones. :(
