I've been dating the most beautiful girl in the world for the past 2 years. She means the world to me, and I cannot wait to marry her.

 

Anywho, Coldplay is our band. Our first kiss was while listening to Coldplay, on our first date we listened to Coldplay, and occasionally we would get in the car and just drive for miles listening to Coldplay. (I wish we were able to do the latter still, but gas prices ya know)

 

What Im trying to say is that Coldplay has been a major influence on our relationship, and I feel like our love has grown just by listening to them. Coldplay has become the background music to our love. Coldplay is now and will forever be "Our Band".

 

I highly doubt that my relationship is the only one that feels this way, and if yours is like mine, please post your stories.

Coldplay's music is for me fundamentally all about love. A Message sums it all up perfectly. The pain it brings sometimes to feel so deeply, in Technicolor so to speak, as well as the incredible joys and highs.

 

I try to share Coldplay with my friends and family - anyone I love and care about. I have no sweetheart at the moment, but I'm in no rush there - life's long and it will happen when it happens. Till then, it's just something else to look forward to!! :)

My wife turned me onto Coldplay. Being able to share the band has always been a great bond between us. I don't think there's another band that we like quite as equally.

Im gettin my girl into coldplay. We are going to our first concert in orlando on 11/07/2008. I have loved coldplay for so long and the lyrics to the songs fit so perfectly to what might be going on at the given time.

Like 'Fix You' helped when we had problems,

I play 'Yellow' when she is concerned about her weight, (Skin and Bones, perfectly describes her)

'Green Eyes' is my song for her, especially since she really has green eyes,

'The Scientist' Video helped me to get her to wear her seatbelt,

'Everythings Not Lost' helps us when her parents get annoying,

'God Put A Smile Upon Your Face' helps me cheer her up,

'Lovers In Japan'...... well its Lovers in japan, what more is there to say about it... Its beautiful

'Strawberry Swing' Reminds us of those times when we first met and were young and there were no presures.

How is it that we dont know any fans in our neighborhood, but all the good tickets get sold quick. Weird. :)

My best friend's band played Yellow during the talent show a couple years ago...the year I realized I was in love. That was also the first time I heard Coldplay. So to me, Yellow always reminds me of her, and that amazing time of my life. S in a way Coldplay represents us as well.:D
