June 29, 200817 yr Has anybody watched this yet? I saw some of it, and they played TONS of Coldplay in the background for some reason, like in every episode.
June 29, 200817 yr Lovin' that show...shame we have to wait for "Part Deux" till the decade's over.
June 29, 200817 yr Author I don't remember the exact parts, but just watch like ONE full episode and you'll probably hear some Coldplay in the background at one point.
June 29, 200817 yr Author Lovin' that show...shame we have to wait for "Part Deux" till the decade's over. Yeah, I thought it was kind of strange they didn't wait just 18 months to do a complete show for all ten years.
June 29, 200817 yr They play coldplay while talking about 9/11. And in 2003 Clocks was on Moby's playlist. I expected Speed of Sound to be on the 2005 playlist, but no luck.
June 29, 200817 yr I heard it...and then fell out of my seat...got back up...fell over again. Beautiful.
June 30, 200817 yr They play coldplay while talking about 9/11. And in 2003 Clocks was on Moby's playlist. I expected Speed of Sound to be on the 2005 playlist, but no luck. Me too! I was pissed when they didn't have it on the 05 one. I was yelling and my friend thought I was crazy. I said something like, "Are they crazy! 2005 was ALL ABOUT X & Y!!!" And then I stormed out of the room. :P
June 30, 200817 yr VH1's "I love the [decade]" series never ceases to entertain. :laugh3: And an Asian person myself, I whole-heartedly LOL-ed at the Yao Ming/William Hung commentaries by Jo Koy
June 30, 200817 yr Me too! I was pissed when they didn't have it on the 05 one. I was yelling and my friend thought I was crazy. I said something like, "Are they crazy! 2005 was ALL ABOUT X & Y!!!" And then I stormed out of the room. :P I know! X&Y was one of the biggest albums that year! And I don't even think they talked about the 40 year old virgin either. I guess we have to wait for part deux. :P
June 30, 200817 yr I heard Clcoks when they were showing the battle between Gore and Bush in '00. I was like "YEAH! WHOO!" and my brother looked at me like I was crazy:D
July 2, 200817 yr I love that series although I don't get why they didn't wait one more year to talk about 09 too. Its so funny though, I love it.
July 17, 200817 yr those shows are the funniest ever, i watched a whole marathon recently had me laughing for hours, hmm i actually did hear coldplay and i heard an instrumental of KEANE. I WAS LIKE O_O. (big keane fan here)
August 2, 200817 yr They are funny but... the decade is still going on!! Back when I used to watch madtv they did a sketch centering around the premise that madtv decided to do an "i love the 2000s" series. That was just after the "I love the 90s" thing! The cast is funny but its starting to catch up with itself! Did anyone think it was weird watching a show about last year?? Remember when Knocked Up came out? etc.
August 3, 200817 yr It sounds like something that comes on the TV in between Christmas and New Year as a kinda catch-p of what's happened in the past year. AKA cheap TV
August 13, 200817 yr it is really wierd to watch the 2006 or 07 ones and think... that was a couple years ago... :dozey:..
