Those that I italicised in bold are those that I'm not very sure of if they have already appeared as B-sides for the previous albums.

There are a few more songs from the Viva cut not included in the list:

- School

- The Butterfly

---

What we know:

Songs that have been heard, but not released:

- Bucket For A Crown

- Mining On The Moon

These two songs were found back in 2006 ( I think). Bucket For A Crown was played in a small crowd and recorded.. I believe someone has the Mp3 file of it uploaded not too long ago. It was written and composed with David, the violnist from Goldfrapp and their Viva La Vida album.

Mining On the moon was discarded because it sounded too much like an already existing song. It was once played in some talk show ( I think)... I've been trying to look for it for ages! Haha.

- Postcards from Far Away

Recently, we found a piano score on the Coldplay webiste's widget section containing the riff to this song. It's not complete, and no lyrics yet though.

--

Songs Related to those we've heard:

- School

- Rainy Day

Both songs were infused into the song Death And All His Friends. The lyrics of the beginning was adapted from School, and the piano riff from Rainy Day.

It's been stated that the song 'If Death Will Ever Conquer Me' sung by Will Champion may be The Goldrush. It's not confirmed though. Could be an entirely different song. But it's rumoured that Coldplay may release this song (The Goldrush) to every ticket purchaser in a Mp3 format.

Looks like someone needs to study their coldplay b-sides a little more.

- A Ghost (a song on solo piano that was never recorded, the only existing audio of this song is from it's one-time live performance on a radio station sometime in 2002-2003?)

- Bucket For A Crown (you acknowledged this one, a song Chris threw together the night before a charity performance)

- Help Is Round The Corner (a b-side off of the yellow single alongside "no more keeping my feet on the ground")

- If All Else (a song on the setlist of either the starfish or laurel tree gig, nothing else is known about this one)

- Lukas (this might be legit, but I have a feeling it's not, it showed up on wikipedia one day, and no one really knows where it came from).

- Mining On the Moon (also in the charity gig you acknowledged, most likely never recorded)

- Now my feet won't touch the ground (this one almost certainly was the working title for strawberry swing)

- Panic (also on the setlist of the starfish/laurel tree gig; early version of "don't panic")

- What's Going On? (a duet featuring Chris Martin and Bono; already released)

- What The World Needs Now (I assume this is a cover done live somewhere, not a "new" song anyway)

So really the list is narrowed to this (although I have real doubts about "the fall of man" being legit, I think that also came from wikipedia):

- Famous Old Painters

- Glass Of Water

- LeftRightLeftRightLeft

- Poppy Fields

- Postcards from Far Away

- Prospekts March

- Rainy Day

- The Fall Of Man

VOTE ONLY IN UNRELEASED SONGS!!!

We know, the released songs are VERY cool, but if you can listen to unreleased songs, why not? Released songs, if you want to listen, just turn on your stereo.

Vote for VLVODAAHF B-Sides and for Starfish songs (So Sad, If All Else, Vitamins).

Funny thing is the station basically just copied and pasted a list of every existing coldplay song into the poll, and didn't think to check to see if they have audio of every song. If Vitamins wins, the station will be going crazy because they can't find it anywhere! If it's So sad, they'll just play the 10 second clip from the website lol.

No, Lukas is legit, it was in a billboard article:

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1003788558

...Coldplay recorded a number of other songs that did not wind up making the final track list, including "Postcards From Far Away," "Lukas," "Rainy Day," "The Goldrush" and "Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground," but it's unknown if they will be released in some form down the road.

I really really want Glass of Water after reading the lyrical snippets we got in the booklet :stunned: I tried deciphering them on the wikicoldplay page!

it almost seems like that one was canned last second judging by how much it's featured in the booklet.

and yeah when is the next single coming out dammit!

I'm starving for moar b-sides! :P

VLVODAAHF has so far had a distinct lack of b-side songs released compared to the previous three albums, which had like two per single :\ a shame!

I already said those that I bolded and italicised were those that i'm not sure were previous B-sides from previous albums??? i wrote that just under the whole list of titles?

Haha. Yea, my B-side knowledge isnt that great =P

sorry if I confused anyone

EDIT: Oh... hahaha. I see. The italicised ones don't look italicised. Really sorry.
