Sorry for entering the discussion so freaking late but I finally had a chance to sit down and watch the mammoth double episode that was the Season 5 finale.Ā Overall, I thought the episode sucked, especially compared to other seasons. A good place to end it all, with Juliet, but we've seen it all before...Ā The most intriguing storyline was that of Jacob, which I believe we still need to cover a lot of ground on, how exactly he 'found' the Losties pre-island. Similarly, the two sides are raised again, with 'good v bad' - the final Jacob scene with the Loophole was truly excellent. The twist with Locke in the cargo blew me away, but as I realise now, it should have been easy to pick. Also, who is coming? Is it the people on Jacob's side? Will it be Whitmore?Ā As for Season 6, there is no way that they will just 'end up' at LAX.. I agree it would be a pitiful end to the series. As to one of the Losties 'Dying'... what a shit rumor. Nobody is confirmed dead, Sayid was only injured, and the 1977 folks are unknown because if Juliet died then all them died. Ā There's my two cents.Ā Can't wait until next season, for some friggin answers.
