Well it's getting worse by the week.She organized a party the other day and me my other roommates weren't there.I learned two days later that cops had been called (she has obnoxious friends.made noise til 4 am running up and down the hall), neighbours had come to complain about the noise etc.I went and apologized to all the neighbours although it wasn't my fault.I told her about the complains and she laughed saying "it doesn't happen often". then i told her "it doesn't work that way. if shit happens you need to go an apologize and at least make less noise." I told her I had had to apologize. she said "ok" not a thank you or sorry or anything.Such a child.sometimes I wonder how her parents raised her.not a lot of respect of other people really.

When she is asleep, try and get into her room and place her hand in a bowl of water ;)

Well I thik it all started with Malware because yesterday if you clicked on something even once

it wouldn't stop opening it, and you would end up with hundreds of the same thing and access was blocked to alot of things., even chkdsk and msconfig andwe got rid of alot of malware butthen the computer kept restarting over and over and the chkdsk wont work and if you press on the start menu the computer either restarts or open s something randomly, and a million identical windows still pop up, but I managed to get a window open today.....theres lots of things wrong with it.

If you can access system restore, roll-windows back to an earlier date ;)

 

If you can't access system restore, than download Spybot S&D and run that as well as a full virus check, to get rid of the nasties

yeah, I tried to tell her but she got really defensive :( we used to be friends but she met the wrong kind of people along the way

Not windows itself, there is a program in windows called System Restore which you can roll back your settings etc to the date it's set.

I think we tried System Restore already :thinking:

But we could try again.

maybe all the malware and stuff is gone, but it corrup[ted everything before it left?

Because we've scanened using alot of different scanners.

I hope you have made backups to like an external hard-drive.

If you have the best way is to send any documents you have created since the backup to yourself via email, wipe the hard-drive and start with a clean slate, restoring from the backup.
