Well its very different. The average paycheck here is around 880 dollars and than for about 200hours per month. (give or take). And you need for food and bills and just general everyday stuff about 1000dollars so we are on our way DOWN... :(

100 dollars is much, just for the bills. Yesterday they said on the news that we have the most expensive internet in the world. Its crazy.

Today I and other regular UNICEF supporters have received a SITUATION REPORT on HAITI (made by UNICEF HAITI on 17 January 2010). I will start a thread about it. Earlier today I saw that OXFAM AMERICAN posted something about it being a special Service Day or the like - and that people living in DC should help out near the Haitian Embassy that had received lots of stuff donated by Americans to HAITI. They could use more hands for the days to come.

I will start a thread with the UNICEF SITUATION REPORT ON HAITI.
