If only my English was grammar or everyday vocabulary. Its political vocabulary. :(

I had my ears pierced before, but I played basketball til I was 16 and during a game I forgot to take off my earrings and this girl kinda put her finger in my earring and pulled (it wasnt on purpose), it was very very painful. So I stopped wearing them and now I deiced that I want to pierce my ears cause I got earrings that have butterflies so... :D

yikes scary! but a good reason to get new ones :D

It's a public holiday, where many places do interesting stuff on the day, as well as morris dancing around a may-pole as the may-queen looks down on the village fates etc.

When its comes to butterflies I just have to work trough my scary memory. :D

edit. What's a may-pole? And what is morris dancing?

Can you believe that come September 1st it's been 70 years since WW2 started.

edit. What's a may-pole? And what is morris dancing?

The maypole is a tall wooden pole (traditionally of maple (Acer), hawthorn or birch) erected to celebrate May Day or Midsummer. It may be a semi-permanent feature, standing in position year-round until it has to be repainted or replaced, or it may be a shorter, temporary structure. It may be decorated with several long coloured ribbons suspended from the top, festooned with flowers, draped in greenery, hung with large circular wreaths, or adorned with other symbols or decorations, depending on local and regional variances.

Pairs of boys and girls (or men and women) stand alternately around the base of the pole, each holding the end of a ribbon. They weave in and around each other, boys going one way and girls going the other and the ribbons are woven together around the pole until the merry-makers meet at the base.

And A morris dance is a form of English folk dance usually accompanied by music. It is based on rhythmic stepping and the execution of choreographed figures by a group of dancers. Implements such as sticks, swords, and handkerchiefs may also be wielded by the dancers. In a small number of dances for one or two men, steps are performed near and across a pair of clay tobacco pipes laid across each other on the floor.
