everybody is being quiet.

Yay for a 4 day week at work, and yay for it being my busy week, where I actually have stuff to do :)

You've got a holyday this week?

In a way he is still getting used to living on his own, he's been working as an ambulance care assistant (basically the ambulance driver who works along side the paramedic in dealing with people) for over a year now, it's just that he has decided to get a flat after breaking up with his long-term girlfriend earlier in the year and moving back to this house. I don't think he liked it as we live in the middle of nowhere.

But i miss him

Wow, that must be a pretty intense job :stunned:

Awww, poor thing.... maybe he felt he needed a change in his life

Good thing he keeps coming over to your house then..... he probably misses you too :nice:

EDIT:

Uh no :wreck:

Get your doggie to the vet Hester, hope it gets better

Today is a bank holiday (no work for me :))

Some days he says is intense, but other times he says he doesn't do a lot, 12 hour shifts though, normally 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.

Ohh cool, i had holyday on friday and then again tomorrow :wacky:

Yikes, 12 hours?? :\

At least he has 4 days to recover from the crazy schedule :nice:

Not really, i'm just making a new banner for the entrance of the garden, marking the places where pieces of art have been/will be located :nice:

Not sure you know, but i'm at the office atm :P

nice :)

so you should be working instead of being online :P

just make sure you don't get caught by you SM (senior management)

I actually am, it's just that it isn't really interesting.... but it's better than nothing :P

Jejeje, no i don't think he has :uhoh:

Not much he could say anyway, as i'm the only one that is not chatting on msn while working  <including him :P>

Your lucky enough to get access to the internet at work, for me internet access is very limited, and it has got to be for work related activities.

Which is why I take a book, because as long as i'm sitting at my desk with no work to do, they can't moan if i'm reading a book :D (well they can moan, but they can't do anything about it)

Hahahhahaha, well at least you've found something useful to ocupy your free time at work :nice:

& yeah i'm lucky but sometimes it gets pretty hard to stay away from this place.... if i have a lot of work to do it takes all my will power to not log in :P

What is it that you do anyway??

I don't think i've ever asked you...

I'm an accountant person who works in a WOs' and Sgts' mess and also an officers' mess for one regiment of the British army which are based on Tidworth garrison base, my duties are to pay bills on the behalf of the mess and collect in mess bill payments (the bills the soldiers get when they stay in the Mess with charges for various things including silver, tea & toast, improvements, spring ball, to be used for the mess to buy silver pieces (or as it is at the moment to send old silver away to be cleaned up by pros).

However the biggest bugger with it is that I have got to be sitting at my desk, or in my office to get money of people if they decide to come in and have a moan at me for something like a function they went too but can't remember they got 100 quids worth of champagne on it, and so at some times (normally the 2nd half of the month) i'm sitting there with no work to do.

Little update on my dog, my dad took her to the vet. They couldn't find anything, so send them home. She's gonna stay with my dad and he's going to watch her all night.

I'd love to to that myself, but my bf needs to go to work tomorrow and I wouldn't know what to do if something happened during the night..

I hope she'll be fine and back with us tomorrow, I miss her already.. :bigcry:

Get well soon Hester's doggie

I hope you have pet insurance, as vet bills can become pretty massive

but what is happening to your doggie hester?

is it shaking or something?

a friend of mine, her dog had a similar problem i think it was just a flea or something.

Thanks for your concern David. I do have pet insurance, but even if I didn't have it I'd take her to the vet. I love my dog dearly and I couldn't live without her..

Edit; Ari, my dog has epilepsy, so it might have something to do with that.. But she was feeling sick, drinking a lot and eating grass (which is a sign she doesn't feel good, because eating grass makes dogs throw up easier if somethings not okay with their stomach)..

I'm pretty sure it's not just a flea..

Ohh, so you're an accountant :surprised:

Uhmm... silver??

Hehehehe, i don't think i could ever be an accountant... both my bro & sis are and my sis is always complaining of it :P

Poor doggie :\
