Hehehe... Noelia and I were playing off each other all weekend, I think. We might have gotten to the point where we don't have to be polite to each other anymore. :P

We bonded on the loooooong scary (terrible terrible fog:stunned:) drive back from Hershey.:nice: So I think we've reached that "no need for politeness" thing a few days ago, Sarah.

AT least I did.:lol:

And YEAY for Lore!!!!!:dance:

edit: I cant' stop staring at my own avi:bomb: it's so distracting!!!!(maybe I am getting closer and closer to that "scary"line!!!)

Hun, don't worry! You'll never be as bad as:

a certain person in the B. thread!! :lol::smug:

mrs "OMG Chris waved at me" :lol:

Ok, so it's Sunday morning, and we got like, what? 5,6hrs of sleep. We (Sarah, Pris, Steph, and I)slept in this spare room that Christa has with extra beds:nice:. We smell some bacon cooking, so we make our way downstairs to the best brunch ever!!!:thumbsup: for Christa aka Martha Stewart! (it was so nice to sit together and tell her hubby alll about the Hartford show and eat the yummy food--bagels, strawberries, yogurt, bacon, coffee, juice--I totally forgot to take a pic of her pretty table:shame:).

So afterward we're trying to figure out what to do with our day. Originally we had said we'd go into NYC and start doing the touristy things with Pris, but I think she and Sarah were kinda worn out from SAt. and felt like just chillin' out. I was in Coldplay BLISS--all I could see in my head was Will smiling and giving us that thumbs up at the end:wacky:) so I was like OMG I have to see them again. SOOON. I wanna see my Coldplay!!!!!<baby whine>:P And someone was like, arent' they in Hershey tonight? So I dunno what possessed me to jokingly say...we should go see them...it's only 1:30pm, if we start driving soon we'll totally make it for the opening act!:idea2: And Sarah's like...OH NO, don't even get that idea in my head:rolleyes::lol:. But I was like, oh just for fun...lets's say we leave now and get cheap seats.... OK OK, back to reality, no you're right we shouldnt'. But by then everyone has that shiny glint in their eyes...you know the one...when a coldplayer knows there's a concert going on...:bomb: LOL

So I say let's just see if they're are any cheap seats left. We look, we even call the venue...there havea 4 pack for $30/eac:shocked2::D. How perfect is that---4 of us, cheap price, stilll available, no other real plans for the day....::D:D:D:dance::dance::dance: AND WE'RE OFF!!!!:escaping:

EDIT: :rolleyes: to your previous comments. now be nice:whip: to fellow coldplayers...

It wasn't that hard for us to say yes. :rolleyes: I don't think we Coldplayers are really known for being rational, are we? :P

that day we were like

:o :o :o OMG they're going to another gig

and poor chavi was like "I'm sorry but this time I need to sleep at a proper time" :lol:

Yeah, I was like: WTF!! :dance: SQUUEEEEEE!! :dance:

Even my bf was like: those girls are frigging crazy!! :D

Yeay for spontaneity and craziness!! I'm suuuch a responsible planner in real life, but Coldplay brings out this whole other side to me:lol:

So, turns our Sarah is not used to driving through NYC(which can be crazy) and I have done it a few times so I don't mind it; so I end up doing the driving. We grab some food&water from Christa's place(thank you!:kiss:)since today we dont' ahve to worry about leaving our spots and not being able to pee, thank God. We load up our sings in the back, just in case, and turn on the iPod. Another day, another coldplayers' roadtrip, another 3+hrs of singing to warm up our voices for that night's show:lol:.

So, I"m driving right....and Sarah is right next to me. And I can see she keeps her eyes on the speedometer the WHOLE time.:laugh3: She keeps telling me how she always just puts the cruise control on a couple miles over the speed limit. But, I should've told you (you should;'ve known, by the way I walk LOL) that I at the very least go 10miles OVER the speed limit always. And knowing that we are like 3.5hrs away from a coldplay show going on open highway with no traffic:bomb:...is only going to encourage me to speed more!!! But dont' worry, I'm not a crazy driver (right???)I got us all there in one piece....

So were' like more than 3/4 there, and we keep seeing funny signs, like that C&C pizza, and any 42 we see we point out....when all of a sudden we pass by this unmarked car at the side...and I think to msyelf, "hmm weird, let me pull into the right lane" 'cause all this time I'd been on the fast lane by myself practically. So I merge, then go around a car, and all of a sudden that parked car is following me and turns on the cop lights. BUSTED----I got a freakin' speeding ticket:bomb: I was almost about to pee my pants, 'cause I knew I was going fast (about 12ish miles over limit) but so was everyone else...:rolleyes: but it turned out ok, the guy was nice and only gave me a ticket as if I was going over only 5miles. So it's expensive, but I won't get points on license. THANK GOODNESS--I think the Coldplay Karma protected me.

So then a few mles down we get off that highway, with Sarah navigating directions. AT this point I'm so nervous and freaked out from the speeding ticket, I think I was going UNDER speeding limits:laugh3:. And my brain is like :stunned:, so Im just following whatever she tells me to do. Including almost turning into the WRONG WAY on a highway:bomb::shocked2::angry::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:. Thank God it's Pennsylvania and the Amish were taking a siesta or something....:P

That was such a crazy drive up there (not because of your driving skills, just because of everything that happened)... getting pulled over, getting lost, the HELICOPTER (:bomb:) and the rain. It makes a pretty good story! :lol:

girls, check your PMs :P

LORE!!! :kiss::kiss: :hug:

Thanks a million hun!!

Okay, so we start following weird directions that led to some scary winding country road that this city girl was NOT liking. I mean. seriously...no sidewalks?!?!heheeh So we turn around and start following all these cars, which finally lead us into Hershey Park. As we are getting closer to parking lot, we can just see a helicopter land...we could only see the blades turning. Sarah, is like, wouldn't it be cool if it's the guys coming into the show, just like in LITii?!?! Hmm...in.ter.est.ing.

So we park, rush to the box office and easily buy our tix. I have NEVER been able to just walkin and get tix same day, and so cheap on top of that!:bomb: So we got tix, we need a bathroom and I need a beer STAT. Right when we go in drops start falling, so girls buy raincoats(I already had mine, Christa got me one for Xmas to take for Wembley:nice:) and an OxFam volunteer comes up to us. Poor girl I didnt' even let her make her speech, I was like I know alll about it, where do I sign?!!? (its a petition so Obama will change some laws about global warming, since US is the ONLY of the big major countries NOT involved in the Kyoto agreement:angry: Anyway..)

Oh shit, wait. PAUSE. gotta check my PM;)

I was chatting up the Oxfam girl! :lol: I was like, have you ever met Pete? Have you ever seen a picture of him??? :bomb: (She knew all about Pete and his cuteness... maybe she was a Coldplayer! :nice:)

you're welcome, I just converted it :P

Girls, I'm outta here. It's way past bedtime (almost 1AM here)..

Talk to you soon, enjoy the rest of your day!

:kiss::hug:

Ok, gotta wait for download...SQUEEE!...anyway...

(babye Hesterd, see ya Sarah..I guess u guys can read whenever...hehe)

We go pee, get beer, and then it just starts POURING!!!!! The kind of rain that would drench you crossing the street, with thunder and lightning. People are like "omg I hope they dont' cancel the show." :rolleyes: Aw amateurs...Coldplay played in a desert with crazy monsoon like rains, a little summer thunderstorm is not gonna kill the show. At least not one I'M going to!!!:whip:

So we wait a bit, and Sarah is all antsy, 'cause she wants to pull open the Phil banner (the only one we brough w/ us since it's waterproof--is Christa smart or what?!?!) 'cause she's like, even if we have crappy seats, maybe a roadie will spot the sign and get an upgrade!:idea2: and I'm like, no way, don't get excited or youll be disappointed( life is so freakin' ironic, since I had to eat my words a few mintues later:bomb:)

We go look for our seats--turns out they've been switched to the opposite side of the stadium, even closer section than we had originally:dance:. The funny thing is, it was going to be on Jonny's side until the switch, then we're back on Guys' side, even if far far away. (It's meant to be girls. The Berryman luvs our cheering section on his side:P.) As we're are trying to make our way through crowd, someone--maybe Pris?--points out a rodie chick talking to some girls. We're like :stunned::bomb::bomb::D this is OUR SHOT! We approach her once she's done w/ those girls, and this is how it goes:

Sarah: Do you remember this???(bust out the Phil sign)

RoadieChick: Umm no.:\ Sorry.

Sarah/Noelia: Omg we were @Hartford last night, front row standing right in front of Guy with it!!!<squeee>

RoadieChick: oh no I didn't see that. WHO'S PHIL?

Sarah, Noelia, Pris::stunned::shocked2::o

Noelia: Who's Phil?!?!:inquisitive: Ummm he's the "secret 5th member" he's one of their oldest friends, he was their manager from beginning up to AROBTTH!!!!!

RoadieChick: oh ok.:rolleyes:

Then, there's like this moment of awkward silence...and I HAD to say something:bomb:

Noelia: So, um, any chance you've got a few extra tix in there for us?!?!:angel:

RoadieChick::thinking::inquisitive::blank: No.

N/S/P::stunned::cry:

RoadieChick: I was hoping you wouldn't ask me, we're not allowed to give them out if you ask, it's a rule. (don't know if that's the truth, or if 'cause I mentioned we were front row the night before:shame:, so she wants to give to ppl who've never seen them up close?:\)

Look maybe I'll find you later on, ok?

N/S/P: Okay okay.:cry::(

--99%downloaded:bomb:

Okay I'll have to pause the story here for now....gotta run to get ready for work...cant' be late 1st day back....

Also, gotta update my iPod:wink: SQUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

----Lore is my hero!!!----

see you soon :kiss:

LORE ROCKS!!!!!! now she has to instruct me on how to do it all.

cooky, you have a mind like a steel trap. i couldn't even remeber the set list. loser old woman with no brain i am

That roadie story is so depressing, I can't even think about it. :( Whatever, we had our front row show, we're just spoiled now. :P
