Well I went hiking today with my friend Erik, and we ended up going bit further than planned... it was about 95F outside I think... or 32C, w/ humidity. Well yeah we got kinda lost, lol.

I tried to plot out where we went from what I remember, haha. I think it was a bit more zigzaggy but meh.

We ran out of water around the 3 mile mark I think. We tried to turn back but we just climbed up a hill that we couldn't really go back down. I lost my phone and my friend didn't have a signal for a long time until we got up to around mile 5. Then my friend picked us up and took us back home along this road... we were able to find out where we were because there was a random map on the side of the road, lol. yay.

Can't be arsed to be descriptive at the moment. It was just really, really stupid.

We were hiking for about 3 hours, and my feet really, reallly hurt. I found 4 shotgun shells and a horseshoe, yay.

Oh yeah and the hills in southern california aren't exactly safe.... there are a bunch of rattlesnakes and coyotes, and i was running around in shorts with no working phone. lol. Plus is was getting dark, and by the time we got picked up it was well past sunset.

DUMB.

Anyway!

So can this be the official stupids thread while we wait for you to rest up? 'cause I can easily qualify for it...

what's that symbol above parking' date=' dump stop?[/quote']you mean the toilet?

No, we IMPROVED it

aw, alyssa, that's terrible!!! bleh. well, at least you have something to look back on when you get older.

what's that symbol above parking, dump stop?

I just spat my water out.

And there was me thinking this was a thread about something completely different.

LOL! If you were REALLY stupid, you wouldn't have found your way back, or you would have accidentally shot Dick Cheany. Don't feel so bad.

And now to post stupid stuff in the stupid thread...

Paris Hilton, George W. Bush, Guy Hands, Hannah Montanna, George W. Bush, Stephen Harper, NAFTA, The Oppressors Of Tibetan Culture, My kitten, Big Dumb Rednecks...er sorry, I already said George W. Bush, didn't I?, Take That!, Brit, Sticktoria, Coldplay-haters, drunk guys that stare blankly at everything BUT your eyes, George W. Bush, Fucktards who ruin other people's threads ;), The 'Hogan Knows Best' reality show, Chavs, tv commercials that state the obvious because they think we're too stupid to know it already, people who are too stupid to know it already, lol, girls who dumb themselves down to attract boys, the boys who are attracted, And of course...GEORGE W. BUSH!!!!!

Where were you going to go anyway?

The point of a hike isn't the destination, it's the journey, and sometimes getting lost is just part of the adventure...mind you, rattlesnakes and bare feet are a little too adventurous, lol.

Sounds laaaaaaaaame. :D

^Hahaha! I don't know why but all your posts are cracking me up tonight, lol.

It SOUNDS lame, but it's really fun once you get into it. I'm a city girl all the way, but I've done the camping/hiking thing, and it's fun because it's so unpredictable. You don't know what could go wrong...and something always goes wrong, lol. I'd recommend it to anyone...as long as you can get back to your AC and computer STAT!:laugh3:

(Actually, I don't even have an AC, and with a laptop, I could probably camp forever!)
