I dont find it scary, if you view a thread or even post in it doesn't mean that you are this or that, or agree with the topic statement. :) imo

If you were really worried about viewing 'dodgy' threads, then turn your status to appear offline.

 

However even doing that won't stop the admins being able to view where your viewing

I mean that thing that everyone has in our profile. There is one thing called Current Activity that allows everyone to know what u r doing at the moment
