band documentaries

I was watching the Refused documentary "Refused Are Fucking Dead" the other day and it got me really interested in bands that are going through internal battles and struggling to keep themselves together. I was hoping some people could recommend some other good ones to check out? Doesn't matter what bands, it's the content itself I'm interested in. Here's a few examples of what I'm lookin for.

The Keane Documentary, 'Strangers', is excellent. There's some uncomfortable scenes where they're not getting on, not communicating with each other and have basically stopped having fun.

Watch from 4:00 onwards when Rich is asked if he's excited, Tim is asked if the band are getting on well, and Tom is asked how he is. They are evidently pissed off, and although it's quite hard to watch, it's a great insight into the effects that touring can have on a band's friendship:

This starts off with the joy and elation of winning a Brit award for best album, and is followed by a conversation between the band about how they're not getting on any more. Really fascinating stuff really:

  • 2 weeks later...

You'd probably like Wilco's "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" documentary. One of the band members leaves mid-filming. Also that Refused DVD is effin' awesome... I wish I'd gotten to see them when they were still playing. I've never heard of that TV show you mentioned though.

That's prob cause that show doesn't start til tonight hah. +2 for that Wilco documentary though, I just got that a few weeks ago.
