The "I feel like I'm coughing my lungs out" thread

Featured Replies

I do. For nearly 3 weeks I've had an ongoing cough and it's driving me mad. It always gets worse right when I go to sleep. Whenever I do any sort of physical acticity it gets bad. And this past week I've been coughing so much and so violently that I've been getting serious headaches because of it.

 All I know is that it's nothing serious in my chest. But it stll hurts.

Apparently a lot of people are sick right now. I hate it. I've never had a cough like this in my entire life.

omg I got that once... I spent an entire month coughing until my lungs swelled up and it hurt A LOT everytime I coughed... eventually I had to go to the emergency room and got treated for it. *shudders*

i had a throat infection last week. out of school for four days, couldn't stop coughing and couldn't talk.

like, at all.

really really sucked.

i haven't had a voice all week, either, and the cough comes in at night too. what you have sounds much worse, though

however, i did have something that sounds sort of like this once, and when i went to the doctor, they gave me athsma inhalers, which helped in the first second of me using them. i say go to the doctor and see what they say. hope you feel better soon, though!
