Hmm... Looking back at the bracket, I'm wondering how you chose the songs. Careful Where You Stand and Murder, for example, weren't included but plenty of other b-sides (even 40 second, live instrumentals) were.

Well, Arazmire organized it, but it's essentially the same list of songs as chris's nuts summer madness with the addition of postcards from far away and glass of water. The songs in that tournament, if you don't remember, were chosen through an arduous nomination system in which a ton of people posted their 25 favorite coldplay songs. The songs that appeared the most in people's lists made it into the tournament.

 

Of course, the songs are slightly reorganized so that we get some different matchups from those in the last tournament.

Clocks is THE BEST SONG EVER, how is it possible?? :veryangry:

I love that b-side... I think is unfair! Every song deserves recognizition and a place on the competition, even if we know they're not gonna win... :(!!!

 

What will happen with those songs?

Well, I suppose two had to be replaced to make room for postcards and GOW, and while I adore Careful where you stand, it had as much of a chance as Giuliani winning the republican nomination (lame).
