So does it look like the Osaka Sun Remix is going to be the single version? It's ironically the same tracklength as the album version, which is a bit fishy. Maybe it's just a re-record or a re-edit of sorts. Who knows.

 

I had no doubt in my mind that this would be the next single, in all honestly. It looks like they're going another Violet Hill/Viva La Vida-esque tag-team single. Hopefully both will be really successful!!!

My guess is it's a radio single...it has no "b-side", and it's the track from the Prospekt EP.

The release date is listed as November 4th. The US election day and only 6 days before the LOST! digital single is released.

 

Anybody know if the last track on Prospekt is a "new" song or just an alternate version of Strawberry Swing? (It's title is a line from Swing's lyrics).

I just noticed the it says Lovers In Japan(Osaka Sun MIX) not remix on Coldplay.com.So im pretty postive now that the version we heard in the multimedia section is the version that will be on Prospekts March.

I hate that... I fear you may be right. The song we heard was more of a Radio Edit. Excluding Reign Of Love from the official title. I was really hoping for a "remix" or a newly laid down track.

It's just a revamped version of the song. A single version/mix if you will. And to be honest, this version is MUCH more radio friendly than the album version (excluding Reign of Love). I don't understand it's inclusion on the EP, though. That doesn't make too much sense to me at all. Oh well. I like it. It just takes an already perfect song and makes it ready for single release : )

Did anyone notice on the official website that a Lovers in Japan video is supposed to premiere tomorrow on iTunes? I just noticed! I'm so excited. It'll be a free download for a week in America.
