I know the new EP is going to be a limited release, but how many are going to be released, and are they going to be at Wal-Mart or Best Buy, or should I preorder from the site?

They are going to be released at those shops, but only 250k are going to be released worldwide, and a lot of them for pre-order, so I recommend you to pre order it.

yeah this is very weird...i ordered it the day it was released from coldplay.com and i got this email today...

Normally I'd do the same, I only preordered because I don't have a car at college, so it's easier if they just ship it to me.

Can somebody tell me where that 250,000 came from, was it from an official source? I seriously doubt it will be that number, the band give 10% of profits to charity so why would they sell themselves, the charites (and us the fans) short by only producing that many. Even if that is the official number given, i'm sure EMI will find it within in the hearts to re-release a little while down the line, I mean calling anything 'limited' is a sure way to drive sales.

I preordered from Amazon earlier today, no word from them that it's sold out... :\

 

I didn't order VLV deluxe though, just the EP.

For all of those who got a back order email, that's just because it's preordered and won't arrive until Nov. 25. I ordered Prospekt's March the other day and got the preorder email, so i called Fanfire today, and the lady on the phone said it was just because it was preordered, and i was going to receive the EP.

I ordered mine off Amazon today aswell and everything seemed fine,

Except they said it should be here between 2 December - 8 December!

Whats up with that :S
