YAY to Montreal.We have some fantastic bands and singers.Martha and Rufus Wainwright are half Canadian as well and grew up here.And Leonard Cohen

Arcade Fire definately is the best band from Montreal. Simple Plan has got some good songs, but most of them are for teenagers. But still, they're not bad.

I hate Simple Plan with a burning passion.

I think Canadian artists are great. I agree with Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown and Arcade Fire. These are the most creative, unique and unforgettable bands that I've come across.

 

If I may add, Miracle Fortress and Handsome Furs are also my favorite bands from Montreal (correct me if I'm wrong) :)

Oh, and Plants and Animals is another good Montreal based band (although half the band is from Halifax)
