It went something along the lines of this: The new album can be looked at at two different, essential parts: Viva la Vida 1. Life in Technicolor 2. Lost! 3. Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love 4. Viva la Vida 5. Strawberry Swing Death and All His Friends 1. Cemeteries of London 2. 42 3. Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant 4. Violet Hill 5. Death and All His Friends/The Escapist So where would Postcards from Far Away, Glass of Water, Rainy Day, Prospekt's March/Poppyfields, and Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground fit into this? Any thoughts? And what about A Spell A Rebel Yell and Death Will Never Conquer? I'm wanting a sort of double album split across two discs like the first disc being called "Viva la Vida" and the second being called "Death and All His Friends". Anyone else want the same thing? LETS ALL PUT OUR HEADS TOGETHER AND FIGURE THIS THING OUT!!! :)
November 21, 200817 yr I've been working on this, but I didn't realise it was figured out already!! This is good. So I thought about the two disc thing, and then also a nice segue for the both albums to fit into one. But to answer your question for the two discs first: I don't know that the band had the same concept in mind for the songs on the EP, but loosely, I'd go for this: Viva La Vida: Life in Technicolor ii Glass Of Water Rainy Day Death Will Never Conquer Death And All His Friends: Postcards From Far Away Prospekt's March/Poppyfields A Spell A Rebel Yell Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground The segue for a single album is proving to be very difficult, but I'd like Death Will Never Conquer and Now My Feet... to be at the middle and end of it. I'll get back to this, though.

November 21, 200817 yr good idea of thread ^^ I personally think the same way as panicked, except that I wouldn't know where to put Postcards From Far Away.. it's like in between.. which is why it probably it is a good idea to put it the first song of Death And All His Friends. It would have ended the CD well too, but not after Now My Feet...

However, I think the Propekt's March songs have their own category; Prospekt's March :P I had a similar idea though, what if VLV deluxe edition was released with three different covers: The normal VLV one, a DAAHF one with some new matching artwork, and the normal PM one. It could be like a collectable, or, buyers can just choose which artwork/title they like best. I remember Chris saying that they wanted fans to make their own choice about the album's title, hence VLV or DAAHF? And the corresponding disc for each cover would have a combined VLV/PM tracklisting? Pretty crazy idea but it might've worked.
