I am happy to have serious discussions when appropriate, but I prefer to have fun. Nobody should be castigated for this, no matter who they are, and that's the point I've been trying to make all along.

It'd be very sad and pathetic if i met someone i dislike online in real life and treated him/her in a bad way just for some online fight.Maybe that person is totally different in real life and we could even get to be great friends.

If you were serious or not , only you know that. But taking into consideration that we arent even friend, that "joke" could be interpretated in a different way. It really killed my good mood cos i dont think anyone likes to hear that stuff you said as a joke or not, don't you think?

I've met people before on a forum where they all hated me and they all expected me to be this evil bastard but they were all pleasantly surprised to find out I was actually nicer than them and we got along

I know another older than the usual demographic member that would always shout at people and force their opinions down their throats, although not to new people, to new people he was nice and friendly and pleasant, little followers if you must. However, when confronted about his behavior he would play the victim. You know what happened to him? Nobody liked him, he "left" after being banned for trolling and came back only to spread more of his muck again. You know why I bring this up? Because that's exactly what you're doing.
