Oh my word. Suddenly I feel so old- most of these lists only have stuff that wasn't on until I was in high school. :stunned:

Besides Mr. Dressup and Sesame Street, there was Smurfs and this Ewok cartoon when I was really little, then She-ra Princess of Power and He-Man. Then the Ghostbusters cartoon, then Ninja Turtles.

She-ra and the Turtles were the two big ones, though.

Narf.

I wasn't allowed to watch Ninja Turtles, Carebears, or Power Rangers.

Mr. Dressup and Fred Penner were my main shows as a child.

Know that feeling. Never did quite understand why my parents could be so strict about some things, and so mellow about types of tv shows.

I don't mind that much. I'm sort of glad I didn't grow up hooked on the television. I spent most of my time playing with Lego.

sesame street was my life for years. i was addicted, and it's basically how i learned english.

but as i got older, i was a huge nickelodeon kid: rugrats, hey arnold, wild thornberries, all that, kablam!, doug, clarissa explains it all...the golden age of nickelodeon.

i was also a HUGE pokemon fan. it was a problem.

aaaand, i still watch spongebob :uhoh:

it's one of the things i miss most when i'm at college.

Did anyone else watch Full House, but have to turn away during the really Cheesy.gif parts?

I remember it, but not in detail. I think my parents used to watch it.

There's some good, lighthearted comedy, and some good lessons as well. But some really corny parts were a little much.

Yup.
Yup.

:laugh3:

Let's act like Danny and hug now.

^I didn't say I actually remembered much of it. :P

Actually, my biggest show as a kid was probably watching reruns of this weird 60s scifi/spy show called "The Prisoner" with my dad. Warped me for life.

lol out of that whole list, i've only watched 3.

I was a HUGE Pokemon fan when I was about 6 & 7.

And I used to think Arnold from Hey Arnold was cute. :laugh3:

Pokemon

Winx (in the later years )

Sailor Moon

CatDog

Play School (the Aussies will know this one)

The Wiggles (!)

Spongebob Squarepants

The Thornberrys (only a bit of it though)

Rugrats

Hey Arnold!

Blues Clues

The Powerpuff Girls

Bananas in Pajamas

Doug (once or twice)

Ed Edd and Eddy (when we had cable...)

Dexter's Laboratory

Sabrina (once or twice... it kinda sucked )

Winx was probably the last one I followed up to the end of Season Two... the end episode was totally retarded with all these weird Winx fairies and their boyfriends going "be safe" "don't leave me!!" I was a biiiiiiit of a tomboy so I was all "WTF."

The Amanda Show leaves me with some memory of a sketch where they were trying to find a cure for hiccups, had the girl drink two litres of orange juice only to be told that was actually the cure for chicken pox.
