this has been bugging me... Do you think he says C. Martin or See Martin? as in MLK Jr.?

I think he mean Martin Luther King, because if you look at the other names made reference to , you can see that Marin Luther is very appropriate

Probably Martin Luther King, yeah. Plus I don't think Chris would let them stick in a reference to him like that. And he doesn't really fit in with them all.

If Tupac and Martin and Bigge were alive and knew their outcome I believe that they do it all over again so it is better to have had and LOST better than not having at all.....

Maybe that's why Chris is just waiting till the firing starts cause he knows its gonna happen...... but he's not gonna be LOST after all with or without him his music will live on and on forever

I like the rap a lot now now, in terms of pacing and rhyme, I feel like it adds a lot to the song. But, I really find the 'niggaz/s' reference unsettling in any sort of song, let alone a Coldplay one.

 

Also, who is the Michael reference to? Surely not Jackson?

I'm not in any way convinced his paedophilia was a result of his success, but anyway if it IS Mr Jackson mentioned in the song I find it totally repugnant.

well unless you were there with him in the room then you have no proof of your allegations and the last child confessed that he was coerced into saying those things...... again i aint even going there on the Michael thing... this discussion is about LOST+
