The World turns upside down

Chapter two

Violetta finished the reading and went into the garden to play ball with her dog Timmy. It was a sunny day and everything seemed to be pretty well. Her father had promised her to some on the next day because of her birthday and this was a good piece of news. She hadn’t seen him for some months, because he was involve in a project to find a serum against the long-winded epidemic.

Violetta was lost in her thoughts and when Timmy brought her the ball, she threw it very high into the air. The ball flew over a stone wall, which encircled the garden. “Oh, no! Not now!” Seeking for help, she looked around, but there was no servant, who could go outside and bring the ball back.

Timmy was jumping around and started to bark, because he wanted to play with this damn ball! “Timmy, I’m sorry, we have to wait until there is someone, who can bring us the ball back. You know exactly that I’m not allowed to go out of this mansion and this has a very good reason, but why am I telling you this? You probably don’t understand the danger of a cureless disease. Oh man, I’m talking to a dog!”

The dog looked with his big eyes into Violetta’s. Now she looked a second time through the garden. She just didn’t like it when Timmy looked at her like this and she could still feel his gaze on her. At the edge of the garden, there was ivy at the wall. She could climb up over the wall and get the ball back and no one would ever know that she did it. It wouldn’t take long, but she didn’t dare it to go alone.

Therefore, she went into the shed looking for something that could help her. It took her some minutes, because there was a total mess in the shed, but then she found a lifting gear.

When she got back to Timmy, she knew that he was excited. He hackled and located her. Violetta clamped the lifting gear at Timmy and then she turned to the ivy.

Even if Violetta was athletic, she had a lot of problems to climb up the wall. As soon as she was on the top, she lifted Timmy. Then she let him down with a rope on the other side of the wall and jumped off. It was quite high, but she didn’t get hurt.

She got up and when she looked around, it knocked her for a loop. This was the first time that she saw the world and what she saw didn’t comply with her imagination.

The streets seemed empty, everything was grotty and there wasn’t any green area. Everywhere was litter and dirt. The houses looked as if they had to be puller down. A grey mist hang over the town.

Violetta had never gotten a hint from behind the wall of how it looked. What was wrong with this world? This was a huge shock for her and after a while she recognised a barking behind her, which roused her from a trance and in the first seconds, she was confused.

“This isn’t our home, Timmy!” Anger raised in her, even if she had lived in this town for her whole life, and now she was about to lose her consciousness.

But she pulled herself together, squatted down and doffed the lifting gear from Timmy. Then she looked around for the ball.

She wanted to take it and go back into the mansion as soon as possible, because she was scared and felt completely helpless. This place had a force, though, which she couldn’t explain and which attracted her. Violetta spotted the ball and ran over to pick it up. Timmy ran around her feet and tried to get the ball, but Violetta held it too high. She was just about to turn around, to go into the house and to be in a safe area again, but something hold her back. It was like an invisible power.

Then she looked into the forsaken streets. This was definitely not the world, she had thought that would exist and suddenly, she became curious. Even if there was still this fear deep inside her, she wanted to reconnoitre this place.

Nervously, she clutched the ball. She was torn, whether to go back and live her old life, in which everything had been absolutely perfect, or to go and see what the world had to offer. Violettas’ fingertips became white, because of the pressure, she imposed upon the ball. Then she dropped the ball and whistled to Timmy. The dog ran after her and Violetta set out for the strange world.

L I B E R A T I O N

CHAPTER 6--where all medical rules are thrown out the window. :D

Two weeks later.

I’ll never forget the moment when I got the call. It was ten in the morning, and I was sitting by the bed, strumming my bass absently. I started, glancing up as the phone rang. I reached for it unsteadily and checked the caller ID. It was the hospital. I swallowed, suddenly fearing the worst. What if Jonny had died? I finally answered the call, my hand shaking.

“Hello?”

“G...Guy?” asked a bleary, throaty voice. It was slightly nasally. It was completely and utterly familiar. It belonged to Jonathan Buckland.

I was silent, my mouth opening and closing in shock. “I know that’s....you, mate.” he said. I could practically hear the tired smile in his voice. Part of me believed I was dreaming; maybe hallucinating. The other part told me he wasn’t only alive, but awake.

“Jonny?” I gasped, letting my bass slip off my lap. “Jon...?”

“Yeah.” he said. “I remembered...you were in the car...they told me you had been here...”

“It’s okay.” I whispered. “I’m fine.”

“Thank god, I was scared...”

“Jonny.” I interrupted him, my voice barely existent. “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry, it’s my fault...”

“What?” he asked, his voice thick with confusion. “What’re you talking about? Guy, I’m sorry...I can’t think right now...I just woke up yesterday. Almost three weeks, they told me I’ve been out. God...”

“I’ll be right there.” I said, pressing my face to the phone. “I’m coming.” I didn’t even give him a chance to respond before throwing the receiver down and propelling myself up and out of the room. I grabbed my car keys and ran out into the humid morning air.

I didn’t wait for anyone to give me permission to enter the wing of the hospital. I let myself in; holding my chest as I ran along the hallway. I finally skidded to a halt at his room. What I saw took the breath from my lungs. He was sitting up in the bed, looking pale and tired, but miraculously alright. He still looked pretty beat up, but it wasn't as obvious that he'd been through so much trauma. Chloe, Violet, Chris and an old doctor were standing around the room as I slid in. Everyone looked my way except Chloe, who was too absorbed by her husband. I walked up to Jonny, my heart pounding and my mind buzzing in shock.

The doctor said something that flew over my head, and in a few minutes, he left. Jonny was looking at us all one by one, overwhelmed and worn out. When he turned to me, something in his face changed. “Hey.” he murmured. “You okay?” I just nodded, not having the strength or the will to speak.

Gingerly, I reached out to touch his arm. He flexed his muscles under my hand, looking up at me worriedly. “I was scared you would die.” I admitted finally. Even as I said it, the thought of him dying seemed distant and unrealistic. For the first time, my pain was being replaced by unprecedented joy and relief.

“Well, I’m not dead, sorry.” he joked weakly. Wordlessly, I leaned down and kissed him on the forehead before hugging him carefully. I didn’t think he was surprised; he merely placed his hand on my back and let me hold onto him for as long as I needed. I had practically forgotten there were three other people in the room. But they did nothing; they seemed to sense that anyone who tried to get between us would be hit...maybe more than once. They didn’t say anything, except for Violet, who asked her mother if I was sad.

Finally, I let go of him and eventually drifted backwards to stay against the wall. Jonny was focusing on his wife as best he could, despite the disorientation of just waking up. I supposed he had already spent time with Chris; otherwise he would have been right up there with them. But instead, he was leaning against the wall next to me. “I’m sorry I shoved you.” he said quietly. “I wasn’t thinking...I could’ve hurt you.” He sounded guilty.

“I deserved it.” I said simply, not really looking at him. “God, the shit I said...” my voice cracked slightly. “I’m sorry, Chris.”

“I understand.” He put a hand gingerly on my shoulder, making me glance up. “This whole thing...it was not your fault.”

Instead of answering, I gave a noncommittal nod. Jonny was awake, and for now, that was all that mattered.

awww!! :wacky::heart::heart:!!

SOOOO good kyra!!! really. :D:D:D:D:D

Okay, this is really embarrassing, but I forgot part of the chapter. Yay! So here it is. (I'll add it to the other post as well)

LIBERATION

Chapter 6--Part 2!

He had to stay in the hospital for another week; just to make sure all his injuries were healed enough to be managed at home. The doctors were lenient in letting him out, but he had to follow a strict physical therapy schedule and had to check in with his physician pretty much every day. Everyone called him the luckiest man in the ward for getting to go home early.

Finally, on the day of his release, we walked with him as he pushed himself along in a wheelchair. Will backed him up, walking near the thing but not too close. Chris stayed right on top of him, ruffling Jonny’s hair and rejoicing in the fact that his best friend was finally back with him. Chloe walked alongside everyone, carrying Violet. Everybody looked so happy and relieved.

I was there as well, leading the group. I hadn’t gotten the stitches out of my arm yet, and my bruises were a sickly shade of yellow. But they were healing. My ribs no longer hurt as badly as they had a few days ago. The only part of me that truly remained damaged was my psyche. I still couldn’t shake the feeling that I was responsible for everyone’s three weeks of hell. But now that Jonny was awake and doing well, some of the edge had been taken off my pain, which I was grateful for.

“Guys...do you want to come over to my place eventually? After this PT shit is over?” Jonny asked us, looking around at the group. Will looked as if someone had just offered him the Crown Jewels.

“Of course, J!” chirped Chris, looking like an excited schoolboy.

I smiled tiredly. “Mad for it.” No matter how tired or troubled I was, Jonny made me feel that everything wasn’t lost. I was eternally grateful for every moment I had with him.

Jonny made a face and punched me weakly in the back. “You’re such a little stick in the mud, Guy.”

“What?” I murmured indignantly. “I said I’d go, mate.” I heard Jonny heave a sigh.

“I know.”

It was raining when we got outside, so I stopped to pull my hood up over my eyes and look back at my companions. Chris was fine in the rain, shaking himself out like a puppy in a sprinkler. Will shivered slightly; wearing no jacket. Jonny looked like it was the first time he’d ever experienced rain; he stared up at the sky in wonder. I took the magazine I was carrying and held it over his head, making him laugh.

Oh, Kyra, Liberation is so great! I loved this chapter with Guy/Jonny time. I can't wait for the next one.:smug:

next part. :snore: and sorry for any mistakes.

The World turns upside down

Chapter three

Violetta walked and walked, but every place looked as if a bomb had banged into the houses. At a corner she stopped and looked through a store window. It must have been a coffee shop, but all she could see were tables and chairs with an extreme dust film, a counter, on which a lot of glasses stood. A mirror at the wall was broken with a deep cut, the flowers on the tables were dried up and on the floor were pieces of broken glass. There on the other side of the corner was a window totally smashed.

Carefully and anxious not to contact anything, Violetta entered the shop through the broken window. A horrible smell was in the air. Violetta had to hold her nose and suddenly she felt sick. It seemed that the smell came from behind the bar, so Violetta went closer to have a short look. When she turned the corner a terrifying sight was presented.

A man, who was obviously dead, lay with his face to the ground and a knife in his back.

Violetta couldn’t stand it any longer. She had to throw up and she did immediately.

Then she cleaned her mouth with a napkin, which lay on the bar, and ran out to get fresh air and a clear head.

“I can’t believe it! Timmy, we’ve got to find someone! This city can’t be empty!”

The dog has waited outside the store. Now he rubbed himself against her leg and they hit the road.

The longer they were walking the nervously they got. It went thus far that Violetta started to run, but it didn’t help. Neither did she get less frightened nor did she find anyone. She walked like this for hours and her cries didn’t help either.

The thing she had to think of all the time was that this could be because of the epidemic, but there was something strange. This place scared her. Even if there was an epidemic, why did this man in the coffee shop have a knife in his back? That was definitely murder.

She had seen some horror films before when her father wasn’t at home and sometimes there were empty cities with two or three corpses, but this was the reality and it was so difficult for Violetta to make it clear. Everything she saw of the streets in Exeter reminded her of the horror films.

This was enough! Violetta wanted to turn around to find her way back to the mansion, but in this moment she saw a dark person at the end of the road. The person didn’t move and stood right in the middle of the street. The whole time she was looking for some kind of life in this city and now there was a person.

Then Violetta noticed another person to her left, coming out of a house. Something was going on and it wasn’t good. These persons frightened her.

“Ok, I’ll just go back to where I came from.”, she stammered.

What happened in the next moment? Violetta wasn’t sure. She just saw that the person who stood at the end of the street started to move in her direction.

At first she couldn’t move any muscle, but suddenly Violetta turned around and started to run. She didn’t know where exactly she was so that she just turned around corners and lost her way more and more.

Now she heard that the people were behind her and also running.

The chase ended as fast as it started, because Violetta ran straight into a dead-end street. She stopped and turned around. What should she do? The strange people approached her. Violetta was very scared, when the two persons were so close that she could spot two big and muscular men.

***

Some meters away from this scene there stood a big guy. He had a beard and with his big green eyes he surveyed the area when he suddenly saw a woman running furious into the dead-end street. Two men followed her and there were two more men who obstructed a passage out of the street.

“This is very interesting!”

He spoke to himself and put his bag to the ground. It was obvious that the woman needed help. Otherwise she would be probably raped and then killed. He knew that he was the only chance for this woman to survive, but still would it be worth to rush into this danger. Four men against one! This wasn’t fair, but what had been fair in his life since he had lost... anyway!

He crept to the two men at the beginning of the street and listened to them. They were standing with their backs to him. “Muwahaha! I didn’t see a girl for some weeks. That is what I really need now.” The second man didn’t answer, but he nodded. Just like Jonathan guessed.

He attacked them from behind without thinking more about a plan and knocked them down. He was very fast and both men lay on the ground before they felt a stabbing pain in their head. Then he ran and followed the woman and her chasers into the street.

When he reached the end of the street, the other two men stood over the woman who lay on the ground. Her face was pale and scared and her eyes were wide opened. At her bottom lip was blood and so at her arm. She tried to stand up, but the men were too close.

One of them tried to grab her arm, but Jonathan came from behind and attacked them both.

He hurt one, who fell to the ground, but the bigger one jumped aside.

He pulled out a gun, but Jonathan hit his arm and the man dropped the gun. They fought for some minutes, but Jonathan could hit the man at his temple. Immediately, he fell to the ground next to his fellow.

For one moment Jonathan looked down onto the men and took a breather. Then he wanted to look after the woman but she had disappeared. He turned and saw her running out of the dead-end street. Unwilling, but her welfare in mind, he followed her.

At least he expected something as a thanks for the rescue.

After a short running he caught up with her, but she didn’t stop.

“Hey, hold on! You’re save now!”

Jonathan wanted to be sure that she heard him. Therefore, he screamed at her, but she either didn’t want to listen or she was under shock and really didn’t hear him. But it wasn’t really the day, on which Jonathan waited for an answer. He grabbed her arm and pulled her back. The woman stumbled and fell to the ground.

@Kyra:

aww, I really like your story. and I'm glad that Jonny woke up.

um... here you go:

How Infinite is Space?

Part 9

"Oh, Chris Martin. You really do amuse me, do you know that? You really do." Retaw was sitting in an office chair that was about ten times too big for him behind a desk that was slightly more fitting for his size. Opposite him sat Jonny and Chris, both completely stunned at the fact that they had been on the spaceship the whole time.

"So what you're saying is you think it's funny that we both were under the impression that we were going to die?" Chris was starting to hate Retaw a little bit, which he thought was a shame because Retaw had seemed like such a nice guy.

"No, no, just funny that it took you two so long to realize you were not going to die. I'm sorry if that makes me appear to be stuck-up. Perhaps it's that you aren't as familiar with this spaceship as I am. Sorry."

"It's OK, I guess."

"What is more important is how you two handled yourselves. I am proud to say, Chris Martin, that you did very well with your attempt to escape. It wouldn't have worked if you were in real danger, but at least you gave it a shot. However, Jonathan, I'm afraid that your obedience could pose a problem if you are ever on your own."

"Hey, I didn't want to get shot or something!"

"It's all right. The two of you together seem to make a fine team. With your stubbornness and Chris Martin's desire to run away, which I believe represents a certain emotional problem he is running away from," Retaw looked at Chris and raised his eyebrows at him, then looked back at Jonny and continued, "you should be just fine."

"Good. Hey, Retaw, can I ask you something?"

"Yes, Jonathan?"

"Why'd you have to have some guy strangle me? It wasn't very pleasant."

"Ah, sorry about that. But, uh... authenticity."

"Oh. Well I'm getting kinda tired. I think I'm just gonna go to bed now," Jonny said, stretching.

"Yeah, I'm pretty tired myself. See ya later, Retaw."

"Actually, Chris Martin, I need to have a chat with you. Jonathan, you may leave now. Good night."

"Yeah, good night. Later, mate," Jonny said to Chris as he walked past him and left the room.

"What is it? Is there a problem with something?"

"Um, maybe."

"Oh, God, what? Am I dying? Are you dying? Is... is Jonny dying? Oh, God!"

"No one is dying to my knowledge. But your Jonathan friend... he's a nice guy, yes?"

"Yeah. He's great." Chris could feel himself beginning to blush. "He's my best friend, you know. Dunno what I'd do without him."

"Mmm. You really like him, I can see. I'm a bit confused, though. I thought that you humans need a male and a female in order to procreate?"

"What?" Chris was suddenly getting very uncomfortable. "Yeah, but... it's.. uh... you see... well, when... I mean... ugh."

"Oh, am I making you uncomfortable? I'm sorry. I'll just have to study more of the subject on my own."

"It might be your best bet."

"Well, in any case, you should... what's the phrase? 'Go for it'?"

"No way, I can't do that! That's impossible!"

"Is it, Chris Martin? Is it really?" Chris sat silently for a few seconds, thinking. It wouldn't be impossible, per se, but it would certainly be very hard to do. What if it didn't work out?

"But what if it doesn't work out?"

"That's the risk that you take. Time is so short, no?"

"Yeah."

"Maybe you should sleep on it. You might have a different perspective in the morning, who knows?" Retaw winked at Chris.

"OK. Thanks, Retaw. See you tomorrow." Chris stood up and walked towards the door.

"Remember, Chris Martin," Retaw said as Chris opened the door. "The hollowest of halos is no halo at all." Chris stood in front of the open door for a few seconds with a confused look on his face. "Go on now."

As he walked into the room he and Jonny shared, Chris couldn't help but to think about what would happen if he really did "go for it". How amazing it would be if Jonny felt the same; how horrible it would be if he didn't.

Jonny was in his bed, and he appeared to be already asleep. Chris kept the light off just in case, but as he sat down on his own bed Jonny spoke.

"Chris? You're back? What'd he say?"

"Yeah, I'm back. And it was nothing, don't worry about it." Chris pulled the covers over himself and turned on his side so that he was facing Jonny. "Hey, Jonny, I want to tell you something..."

"Mm-hm?" Chris could tell that Jonny was only half awake. He was even sure that Jonny's eyes were still closed. Maybe he should just let him get some sleep, it had been a pretty rough day for the both of them.

"Um... never mind. I'll tell you tomorrow."

I suppose it is a sort of diary. The whole story are diarys written by Chris, Will, Jonny, Guy, Phil and a few others in the years between 2010- 2015. The Band have broken up. Tragedy has struck and they are at their lowest end.

I really miss her. Every day I visit her grave. I still do not have a new girlfriend and I'm not sure I ever will. I can't face it, she was my life, my everything.

I'm meeting Chris tomorrow for a chat. I havn't seen him for about 6 months! I wonder how he is getting on. I want to arrange to meet Will and Jonny aswell. They are all great guys.

Chapter 3

“WHAT?!?” Chris yelled right away, standing up upon hearing his friend’s announcement. This was going too far. Leaving the band? Now he had proof that something was terribly wrong with the man in front of him. He was one of the most passionate people he knew when it came to music. He was always eager to start working and was usually the last one to leave the studio. And even then he would go with the ideas on his mind and work with them at home. That was one of the reasons his marriage fell apart, he knew, even though the bass player never said a thing about it.

“You heard me.” Guy whispered, not looking at any of his mates, afraid of their reactions. Disappointment, anger, frustration. That’s all he could sense, even though he wasn’t seeing their actual expressions. Thinking about what to do next, he realized he had nothing to look forward to, nothing to do after being in a band he devoted his life to. He was definitely going to miss the feeling of being a part of something bigger than himself, something that few people would ever experience in a lifetime. He was going to throw it all away. But he didn’t care anymore.

“Okay, that’s it.” Will said, going in his direction and shoving him against the back of the sofa he was sitting in and holding his head so he would have to look him in the eyes. “Do you WANT to leave the band? Why? What for?” he demanded, clearly agitated and desperate to bring his mate out of whatever daze he was in.

Silence fell upon the room, the growing tension in the romm palpable. Guy couldn’t do anything but stare at him, tears in his eyes, not knowing how to answer Will. He didn’t know. That was the answer.

“Because if you’re going through something, we understand and we will support you.” The drummer continued, softening his voice. “But we won’t allow you to give up for nothing. Over my dead body!”

“It’s not for nothing... I am not irreplaceable anyway. You can find any bass player and continue as if nothing happened. I am not essential. That’s the bottom line.” He replied, tears suddenly streaming down his face, shocking his friends. He was cracking right in front of them, rendering them speechless. And that was saying a lot when it came to Chris.

“Man, you are irreplace-...” Jonny tried to say, before he was interrupted by the dark-haired man that lifted his head from his hands, standing up abruptly.

“No, I don’t buy that crap! Just let me go now! I need to leave.” He retorted, walking rapidly to the door, hoping to get away form this conversation. Didn’t they see he was hurting? Didn’t they realize this was painful for him? He wouldn’t decide to leave the band just because. He felt like throwing up in fact. He felt his chest tighten, his head pounding, his eyes burning with the tears that freely made its way down his face despite his efforts to control them. He was exhausted and he only could think of escaping this hell.

“You’re not going anywhere.” Will stopped him, forcefully grabbing his arm. He noticed he was thinner and the thought only served to alarm him even more.

Guy tried to get away from his grip but he wouldn’t budge, he was too strong compared to him. It was useless to fight him off. But he tried anyway. Again. And again.

Meanwhile, Chris locked the door to prevent him from running away. Jonny came to Guy’s side and tried to grab him, to calm him down. That seemed to infuriate his friend even more. He just wanted to leave them alone, to let them move on to better things as a band and they wouldn’t let him.

He was dragging them down, he knew. He had nothing to give, he had nothing to keep him going and he would keep suffering. Like he was at the moment.

Finally, he gave up. His eyes red, his breath shallow and hard, his hands trembling. He gave up.

Seeing his friend break down, Will wrapped his arms around him, letting him cry for as long as he needed and providing some sort of comfort. Guy didn’t react at first.

Next thing they knew, he was holding his friend like he was his daughter, not letting go. At that moment, it was all he needed.

I hope you liked it.

^^Oh, its' so kind of you and I also LOVE your story, I don't think I ever reviewed it though:thinking: My bad....

How Infinite is Space?

Part 10

"Wakey, wakey, boys!" Retaw was standing in the doorway of Chris and Jonny's room with a tray of food in his hands. Both Chris and Jonny sat right up and looked over at him. "I brought some breakfast."

"Aw, thanks Retaw!" Chris now regretted ever thinking that he hated Retaw. He really was a nice guy.

"You're welcome, Chris Martin. Now, you two need to eat quickly and prepare yourselves for some massive training."

"Massive training?"

"Our world needs saving as soon as possible, Chris Martin. The quicker we can get you trained, the quicker we can return to living in peace."

"Oh. OK. Massive training it is then. Thanks again for the breakfast."

"It's no problem. Anything for our savior." Retaw set the tray down on Jonny's bed then returned to the doorway. "Enjoy your meal, boys!"

As Retaw left, Chris walked over to Jonny's bed and sat down at the end.

"Hey, Chris. Did you want to tell me something last night? I thought I heard you say you had something to tell me."

"Oh." Chris was unsure of what he wanted to do. On one hand, he really wanted Jonny to know, and he felt that Jonny deserved to know. On the other hand, the thought of telling him the truth was scary as hell. "Remember that blond girl? On the bus?"

"Yeah. She was fiiiiine! What about her?"

"Uh, just that I always thought she kinda looked like my aunt."

"Really? I have got to meet your aunt, then!"

"Hmm, I don't think you should."

"Why not?"

"She's afraid of clowns."

"... And?"

"I was calling you a clown. Complete fail, I see."

"Oh. Sorry, I guess I'm a bit clueless sometimes." Chris chuckled to himself as he continued eating his breakfast.

"Yeah, well, Cher, hurry up and finish eating so we can get this training thing over with."

After they ate, Chris placed the tray on the table beside Jonny's bed and they both went into the bathroom to get ready.

"I wonder how we'll have to save the world?" Jonny asked as he checked his hair in the mirror. After deciding that he couldn't do anything with it, he simply put his green cap on. Chris always got a kick out of that.

"That's a very good question. Maybe we should ask Retaw."

"Yeah, but he probably wouldn't tell us. Maybe we'll have to fight off, like, a billion evil monsters who surround their homeland or something. We'd definitely kill them good and dead." Chris turned to Jonny. Those brilliantly green eyes were really starting to get to him.

"You'll get them all, J, I'm sure. You won't even need me."

"Hells to the yeah!" Jonny smiled the cutest smile in existence. "But what can I say? That's just how great I am." Chris couldn't control himself any longer. He lunged forward, locking his lips with Jonny's.

It was like heaven, like paradise. Like being completely alone in a giant world made solely of chocolate. Chris was pretty sure that there were actually sparks flying between them. It seemed to last forever and ever. He didn't mind at all. In reality, though, the kiss only lasted a few seconds before Jonny pushed him away.

"Whoa, what are you doing?" Chris was suddenly very frightened. Did he really just kiss Jonny? Did Jonny really just reject him? What should he do now? He could confess his love for him, but that didn't seem to be the best choice. He could pretend none of it happened. Yeah. Play it cool.

"What are you talking about?" Yeah, that'll fool him.

"You kissed me!"

"So? I've kissed you plenty of times before." Why was his voice getting so high-pitched? And his hands were sweating a lot, too. There was no way he could keep pretending for much longer, and he already knew that is wasn't working anyway.

"Yeah, but that was... different."

"I don't think it was." Stop lying! He's not fooled anyway.

"I think I should go." Jonny walked away from Chris and towards the door. This was Chris' last chance. If Jonny left now, he might never come back.

"I love you!... Jonny." Jonny turned and looked Chris in his stunning blue eyes.

"Sorry." He opened the door and left. Chris, heartbroken, walked backwards into the wall and slid down to the floor. That was it. Jonny was gone. He had ruined everything. Nothing left now. Chris was shaking and sobbing uncontrollably.

"You stupid bastard! Why did you do that? Have some control over yourself once in a while! But it's too late now..."

Aww, poor Chris! "Wakey, wakey, boys!" - I found that so funny for some reason:lol:
