A SMILE IN THE SKY

 

It was 20:11 pm here. I've just seen a wonderful scene outside - Venus, Jupiter and the crescent just make a smile in the western sky. It was so amazing, so cute.

Oh gosh where do you live? It's 20:17 pm here :stunned:

 

I don't see any Jupiter outside :D

I saw it at about 18:00 pm. But my roomate said the moon and the stars had sunk. Maybe they have already sunk at 20:17 pm.

 

I live in Guangzhou, Southern China, which is very close to where you live.

It was predicted that a same scene will appear in the sky tomorrow evening.

 

Have you guys seen the same scene in your place ?

It was here for a long time. I am so glad to have seen it. Its my nieces and nephew who asked me to come outside and see it. And said that the sky is smiling at us.

 

120108 marks the day of new hope. :)

It was just incredible. When I was on my way to the students' apartment with one of my roommates, we saw it and

 

we just could not help jumping up and screaming. It was like, "Oh, God is just smiling at us, isn't that great? " And

 

this reminded me that " God put a smile upon your face" and made me even more moved. Then we ran to our room

 

to grab the camera and ran to the playground. Those pictures were taken just around the students' apartment.

 

 

It was a amazing moment on the campus. Usually, people are just cold to each other walked with fast pace on this

 

campus, but now, we all stopped and smiled and shared this wonderful moment. And yeah, this gave me hope too.

 

 

And about the picutues, sure, I would be very happy to share them.

It was raining last night, and the sky was too dark :(

when i was walking to dinner a few hours ago, i saw the same thing, but the image was upside-down so it wasn't a smile, but the dots of the planets were UNDER the moon :stunned:

 

i think there's an astronomical reason that happens, because i'm in a different location and all.

you mean, they show you a sad image? :(

no, just that the two "eyes" were UNDER the smile, so that it wasn't a face at all :P

You know, I wrote an essay about Coldplay for my exam last week :P

I wrote a story about Chris as the King, and Jonny as the antagonist who wants to take over the throne from Chris. :D I also featured Guy, Jonny and Gwyneth Paltrow as the guest-stars. :wink3:I really hope the examiner is a fan of Coldplay so he can give me a high score :D
