Coldplays track highlight

Featured Replies

You guys know how Yellow was like the biggest hit off of Paracutes a classic . Well what track off of A Rush of Blood to the Head is the highlight hit off of the album?

i'll go for the scientist.

the most sensitive,emotional song.

clocks is much more like don't panic in my opinion. it's more for unique ppl.

cool issue, though

I also vote for 'Clocks', my fave song of the album.

The tune is sooooo awesome that I can't stop moving my head when I hear it (and it's really often!!) :D

yeah Clocks definitely now that I think about it. Some might argue In My Place but Clocks is more affectionate. I hear it much more than In My Place. I just love the "oohhh oooh ooooh ahhh" I just love Chris's voice!!

in my place was pretty sucessful i think. it didn't get mega radio or tv exposure, BUT it got a lot of people interested in coldplay (ie. ME! lol.)

but as in a sales and spins hit i would agree with clocks. it was an unexpected hit.

"the scientist"

what's wrong with you ppl?!

:o :stunned:

Clocks had the most radio play, and EVERYONE who wasn't usually a coldplay fan seemed to like it!

MY personal album highlight is Politik or Daylight :D :P

Exactly. That's why I said Clocks, not the Scientist. Its not my personal highlight on AROBTTH, but if you're talking in terms of popularity, like Yellow was, it have to be Clocks.

that's one way to look at it

but the scientist is much more like yellow

yeah Itay thats true!

Dissolved Girl, was Clocks more successful than Yellow then? (sorry, I dunno you guys' names! I'm Charlie :D )

my actuall name is itay...

it's in hebrew

well-from the bible but regular name here

hmm yours?

yeah Itay thats true!

My name is Emma. :) And I'd say, at least here in the states, Clocks was at an equal level of popularity that Yellow was. I wouldn't say it was more succesful, but what it did for ARROBTH is similar to what Yellow did for Parachutes, in, again, terms of popularity. Not in personal choice. :)

well NOTHING can match up to Yellow for me :D

you can call me Charlie or Char or Charlene, whatever you want! :D

yeah charlie UK is cool :)

i like british ppl

yeah i reckon the scientist was the highlight off arobtth because even people who had never really been into coldplay liked this song :)

which city?

I assume you're talking to moi? :) LONDON! Its great, but too expensive sometimes! I'll be off to University in September though, and I WILL miss the place  oh well :D

was there last Christmas..

it was cool!!! even though the underground didn't work on the 25th...

but nice city. i've been few years ago n summer school in Cambridge, cool city too :sneaky:

they don't even play "The Scientist" which is the new single....... :dozey:
