usually optical wireless mouse on a pc...at school with my laptop i use the touch pad

50-50 for the touch pad on a laptop, and a wired optical mouse at a desktop. Some days I use the laptop a little more, others the desktop depending on what other people are using.

It took a while to get really good at the touch pad, but I quite like it. I really don't get why everyone else hates it so much. :inquisitive: It's so intuitive.

me too.. I actually use a laptop more often these days than my own pc with wired mouse.

I'm starting to get used to using the touch pad and i never want to use the mouse anymore when i'm on the laptop.

Like this:

With a trackpoint ball thing mounted in the keyboard with buttons at the bottom?

You will find those come under option 1, as they are in effect an inbuilt mouse control on a laptop :smug: (and are annoying to use for long periods)

this is probably the most annoying type ever. It's sooooo bad to use...

A regular laptop touch pad pour moi! And I quite like it.

Desktop with wireless mouse :)

Which eats up batteries like there is no tomorrow :(

This.

why is everyone changing their names? :bigcry:

anyway, i use a laptop with inbuilt mouse most of the time, though sometimes i plug in a wired mouse. but i HATE the touchpad mice on most laptops...i have to have a trackpoint mouse, no question. it's either that or external mouse--i can't ever get trackpads to work properly.
