Tame Impala to Reissue Innerspeaker

Aussie lava lamp worshippers Tame Impala just released their BNM'd debut LP, Innerspeaker, last year, but Modular will reissue the record with extra goodies on May 27.

 

The deluxe two-disc edition of Innerspeaker includes new packaging, while the second disc (playfully dubbed Extraspeaker) features cuts from the band's 2008 self-titled debut EP and 'Sundown Syndrome' single, as well as remixes from Erol Alkan, Pilooski, Canyons, and Mickey Moonlight. We have the tracklist, as well as the video for "Expectation", below.

i would be pissed if I bought the original version, but I got it on vinyl so its all good.

I don't know, if I had done I wouldn't be bothered. I'd just download the rest. And if I had a physical copy of it I'd want it to be the original, not some special edition.

Love the first album and EP. Don't like the new album. There's a few decent tracks but compared to the other two it's too hit and miss and really self indulgent. It's like the cheesy bits from Beatles and Flaming Lips. Hope he comes back with a more guitar based collection next time around.
