January 11, 200917 yr Sorry if one already exists/existed, I just found it kind of sad that we have baseball/hockey/tennis threads, but nothing devoted to the most popular sport in the United States. Any fans around? This evening I've been suffering from a mild depression due to the Titans narrow playoff loss to the Ravens tonight (we lost 10-13 after turning the ball over three times in the red-zone :cry:).

January 11, 200917 yr Author Yeah, we had an incredible season and we were in control most of the game, but's it's like the football God's hadn't forgiven us for pacman jones because on three different drives we got down to the 20 yard line and then either fumbled or threw an interception (twice on 3rd down) like some demented joke. Usually I support the team we lose to down the road, but the titan's should've won easily. I might root for San Diego...
January 11, 200917 yr Author ahem CARDINALS!!!! 33-13 LOL, yeah I stopped watching before the first half was over. It was just boring compared to our AFC cliffhanger. Funny because my former roommate was a huge Panthers fan. Just imagining how bad he must be taking it kinda makes me feel better. :P
January 11, 200917 yr Ravens had a 3rd and 4 in the late 4th quarter tied 10-10 and the play clock stood at :00 for 1.5 seconds with no call. that blown call resulted in the first down that led soon to the winning field goal. refs made the Titans lose

I was also ticked off when they flagged a Tennessee lineman for unsportsmanlike conduct just because he was trying to prevent one of the raven's players from bending our running back (can't remember which) backwards into a dangerous position after the play. :dozey:

I know when they were in the 20 yard line in the 4th Q i think and bout to make a touchdown and he lost the ball it was horrible to watch....if it werent for that Titans woud have won!!!

January 11, 200917 yr it's absolutely ridiculous that the patriots didnt make the playoffs. i can't even enjoy them now because all i think about is how the patriots could definately beat any of the teams still playing. tell me how this is fair... the chargers get to go to the playoffs with an 8-8 record... the pats dont with an 11-5 record... and THEN the chargers get a better draft pick than the pats. it's so stupid!!!
January 11, 200917 yr Author Yeah, looks like you guys got the short end of the stick when it came to the wild card draw with the ravens, colts and dolphins. You have every right to be upset. I wouldn't necessarily blame the system (even though the AFC West sucks; no offense broncos fans :P), but it is sort of lame that the ravens got the wild card and not you... The NFL is way more fair than the BCS though. When the only team with a perfect season doesn't even get a shot at the national championship, something is seriously, seriously wrong.

Well how do you know the Pats are better than the Chargers? Everyone said the Cards didn't belong, they just destroyed Carolina. Pats lost, with live it. They didn't make the playoffs and the Dolphins did. Ouch.
