Keep getting a phone call from 000-000-0000?

Featured Replies

For the last month and a half i've gotten around a dozen phone calls from a 000-000-0000 number. Anyone know wtf that is?

that's god's phone number.

More than likely the number is from a scam artist from overseas. Scam artists from overseas are using phone numbers with area codes that do not exist or with numbers that do not come up like in your case. Don't answer the calls!!! I don't know how to stop getting the calls but, please, don't answer the calls.

I answered it once and there was no one there....we got another call today in the morning but I didn't answer it....it's creepy.

They are probably tapping into your phone line and making you pay all their bills.

could be a prank call using software to change the number. anyone you know who would play a joke on you?

Where would they get the software?

there are ways

It's the white house

I believe that number is attached to a computer system (system is slow) where they'll tell you to call another number. It's a scam where the call takes you to a telemarketing scam.

is so weird.

but i think is weirder what my younger cousins use to do...

(specially one of them)

she calls to 666 666 666 (mobile here)

:freak:

although your case nick is the other way round.

You're probably right. It's annoying and I don't know how to have it stopped. Maybe a call to the phone company and see if they can do anything.

That's crazy! and creepy.

At least you get a number showing up and not "withheld number" or "private number" where the caller has hidden their number away.

i never bother to answer calls if i don't know the caller. It's usually always someone trying to sell me something anyway..

yep it is... but don't anyone has ever done any stuff like that?

another friend of mine, one day we went out (we were like 14 then), phoned the national service for info (that tell you the number of someone you want to know, like a friend of yours and stuff like that) and just asked:

"can you put me through bugs bunny phone number? i wanna talk to him".

lol it was so fun and so random. :laugh3:

its a telemarketer scam. I had it happen to me they try to tap into your info by calling your house and people will tend to call it back to see who it is and they get the name that is attached to your phone # then after they have your # they try to hook your # to different scam agencies. when they call DO NOT ANSWER IT or call it back if they dont get an answer they will leave you alone. it took me about 2 months to get them to leave me alone

So that's why you never answer my calls :(

I always read and reply to sms's though!
