Well right now the UK is not a pretty sight, as it was suddenly declared today that officially we are in a recession!!!! I could have told the government that a year ago!!!!!:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:

 

I am British born and bred, but I am waiting 2 fly over to the USA as I have a husband over there(Its a VERY VERY VERY long story!!!!LOLOLOLOLOL)!!!

I heard it on BBC Radio 1 this morning... you're right - "Now it is official that we are in a recession for 6 months". Everybody knew before!

 

I have a friend working in London and it's bad for her to do a trip to "Euro-land"... the exchange rate is ridiculous.

Last year I paid so much more for GBP.

It's good for me at the moment to order stuff from the UK though...

The thing is it is getting serious in the USA as well now!! Barack and everyone is working day and night 2 work out stimulus packages!!

I cant install Nero Express, cos when i was installing it there was a serial number in the process which has expired and apparently I actually need a Nero Express CDRom system disc 2 download it and i am downloading it from online!!!

Oh no, back to SQUARE ONE I guess!

Computers can be bitches... I have replaced every single part of my PC step by step over the years as they broke or weren't compatible... or just didn't like me :lol:

Have you tried going to My Computer, right clicking on the drive in question to bring up it's Properties box, hitting the "Recording" tab and making sure that there is a tick in the "enable CD recordings on this drive" box.
