Reilly
This is a song I wrote a couple hours ago about my ex girlfriend, I still love her, but jeesus, what a bitch. Notice my particular nastiness in the 2nd verse. It looks short, its about 3 mins long, so it is fairly short. Here goes... Its Growing Of all the things, you hold close to your skin Im a breath away, but Im still nothing And I heard, the screaming And I heard, the passer-by If you keep acting this way, there will be no-one at your grave And I cant think of one thing, that makes you a human being And I heard, the screaming And I heard, the passer-by Its growing

Kettercat
*thumbs up* very good Reilly! I haven't written anything good for ages, but here's my latest crap: Down On Me It's raining down again This time it's raining on me I'm sitting here in silence Thinking what happened To what we used to be I've said my sorry's And I've expressed my pain But she won't listen So I'm sitting down Watching the rain Take a good look at me Tell me, what do you see? Is it the man you used to know? Is it the man I used to be? Take a look at me now Before you turn the lights Down on me I showed up at her doorstep Brought some roses too Talked about the countless Nights and days I'd spend "thinking of you" I've said my sorry's And I've expressed my pain But she won't listen So I'm sitting down Bleeding with the rain Take a good look at me Tell me, what do you see? Is it the man you used to know? Is it the man I used to be? Take a look at me now Before you turn the lights Down on me You know I never meant to make you cry I never meant for it to end this way I am lost on my own I'm so cold, soaked to the bone Instead on falling on my feet I've fallen on my back Now I can't seem to find The right track... Take a good look at me Tell me, what do you see? Is it the man you used to know? Is it the man I used to be? Take a look at me now Before you turn the lights Down on me Take a good look at me Tell me, what do you see? Is it the man you used to know? Is it the man I used to be? Take a look at me now Before you turn the lights Down on me... (Yup, I know it sounds a lot like the Stereophonics' 'Since I Told You It's Over', that was my inspiration :))
