Yeah, college scares the shit out of me! More because I don't want to leave my school, not necessarily my house, but still... it's terrifying! And it's totally natural to feel bitter towards them- my parents aren't divorced, but most of my friends' are, and they all say the same exact thing.

leave your school? isn't just a high school? haha...well i guess i don't want to leave either with all this crap that is happening

Well, yeah, it's only a school, but this is already my 5th year, and I can't even explain what my school has done for me! It's just incredible... plus, you know how I said that you need someone to talk to? All of those people for me are my teachers, so I'm pretty scared about what's gonna happen when I have to leave all of that in a little over a year :uhoh:

Yeah, I go to a private school, but not all private schools are like that :P

Well I have other friends of course, but I've pretty much fallen out with the vast majority of them over the years, and they're just not that great to talk to about important/serious stuff. My teachers are good for giving advice and helping me to stay sane about my schoolwork and stuff, and that's really more comforting to me than having some friends to go see movies with on the weekends, you know?

I know it sounds weird, but it's pretty much the philosophy of my school- solid teacher/student relationships...

well i think that is really weird..hmm but i guess if that is how you have been taught? but idk i think friends to go out with are important.but whatever gives u peace of mind i suppose.

They haven't brainwashed me into it or anything  And I do go out with friends on the weekends and everything, but having teachers to talk to at school is also important to me. All of my teachers are really young (like mid 20s to early 30s), so it doesn't feel like I'm talking to someone who doesn't understand me.

Hmm... for example, a couple of weeks ago when I was feeling so overwhelmed with work, I told my teacher about it (the one I'm closest with), and he went completely out of his way to email all of my teachers and explain to them what they should do to help me not stress out so much, and worked it all out with me. I didn't ask him to do anything, he just wanted to help! That's what the teachers are like at my school :nice: They just take the time to work with the kids. I'm sure that seems foreign to most high schoolers, though! :P

oh no i don't think that is foreign..my teachers are like that as well. since i am in this IB program i've had the same teachers for 2 years so we are close..

yeah... I've been close with this teacher since 8th grade :P and I've had 4 out of 6 of my teachers this year before, either last year or in 9th grade. It's nice to have a teacher more than once, isn't it?

And you're in IB? A couple of my friends are in IB at schools around here :)

yeah..ugh IB is so hard but it was worth it i suppose..well maybe not since i am ending up going to a junior college..but i have to go and try to sleep and try to feel better..i didn't even study for my 2 huge test tomorrow..

Uhoh! Maybe you should just wake up earlier and study then?

Well, good night, feel better  Listen to Coldplay :P

i will listen to coldplay..haha wake up early i'm not as dedicated as u zoe. maybe because it is my senior year and things are coming to an end..only 2 more months to go..plus i'll study tomorrow during first since we aren't doing anything

Hey! :)

Nobody's here :disappointed: (again!)

Oh well, I have 2 school-off days so maybe I'll have more free time to come here.

Hi and bye to anybody who comes here shortly afterwards.

Talk to you all later.

I came on in english, and now in drivers ed :D:P

ugh, i do NOT wanna go to track after school, i wanna come home and go on here. because

Awesome!!

I'M just looking at the dates...I'm off school at that point. Don't think I can get to any of the shows though.

I am so excited because they are coming to Riverbend in Cincy which is less than a hour from my home. Yeah!! When they come I can spend a day at the amusement park (it's real small park but it's nice) that is basically attached to the concert venue. What a fun day it will be!!!

Plus, they are coming to Indy which is less than 2 hours from my home and I have family there so there's another concert I will be attending. Yeah!!

Wow!! I am just so excited that I can not express it with words.

Oh man!! I just realized something....the concerts in Cincy and Indy are on the 5th and 6th of June. Do you know what that means? I can wait for them after the concert in Cincy and follow their bus to Indy. But, that would be stalker like and I don't think I can do that, but who knows? By the time I get out of the parking lot I might be behind their bus so I could follow them to Indy.
