Well, judging by the Coldplay abuse over there..I'd say they're not too impressed that Jonas is working with someone from as "lame" a band as Coldplay..:rolleyes:

 

Jonas is quite a driving force behind Mew, he's the lyricist and singer and the 'front' of the band so to speak, so maybe it's not so exciting that he is involved in another project. Guy, however, doesn't take centre stage in Coldplay (the main focus is on someone else!), so it's really exciting for us that his personality and influences are coming out in another project. That's just my opinion, but I know for a fact that I wouldn't be half as interested in Apparatjik if it was Chris in the band rather than Guy.

 

As for Magne I think his fans are even more obsessed than we are, so they get excited about anything he does :P which is just as it should be ;)

Yea... but why don't they give a shit about The Storm? (former Bassists band with gf and mother of his child, former swanlee singer Pernille Rosendahl) They were supportive until they heard their EP, which no one really liked. But now their music is better, no one seems to care. Not even me. Maybe that's the problem. Compared to Mew's music it's too different? Hmm... Maybe it's just not good.

I mean absolutely no offense to Johan but the Storm really sucks IMO. Every song that I heard from their album feels like I've heard it somewhere else...Johan seemed really arrogant in some interviews, calling Mew "that damn band," and other stuff.

Looks like they are all busy with their 'real' bands at the moment...the a-ha album is due in June and Mew's latest due in August...so I guess there's promo stuff to be done and rehearsals for the summer gigs.

 

I guess all we can hope for in the meantime is more Apparatjik related Guy-tweets :D

I'm still gonna keep checking myspace once a day though, just in case..;)
