Okay, can I just post my beef about "The OC" here?

 

First of all, *I'm* from Riverside, and not everyone here is some white trash loser who is afraid to even say that they're from the 909. Secondly, *no one* calls Orange County "The OC". Not unless you want to get laughed at. Loudly. Also, Chino isn't some ghetto town that's on "the wrong side of the tracks". Finally, not everyone from Orange County is a rich snob. Yes, as hard as it is to believe, there are real people in Orange County.

 

Anyways, this show was just starting to bug me, so forgive me if I offended anyone.

Putting the non-accuracy aside I LOVE this show! I mean they wouldn't make a tv show that was 100% how real life is as nobody would watch it, they need to spice it up so people will watch.

I'm pretty much with ya Steph - I hate all the trash people talk about the 909 like it's some huge hickville because it's not true. Of course, either way, the show intrigues me but I don't really care to actually watch it.

 

And why do Kevin and Bean hate the 909 so much? *whimper* It's not right. :(

i haven't watched a full episode of this show yet, but i keep hearing that it's really good.

I love ADAM BRODY!! he's so cute!

It was so funny when he was skating in the empty pool and he was just going up and down on the ramp. no tricks or anything! hahaha that was great.

oh yea and him in grind! i wonder what that's going to be like, with he's "great tricks" eh?

yeah... the show is a bit unrealistic... but for some reason I'm strongly drawn to it. :lol: Like most crap on T.V. :lol:

it is more realistic than other shows..but its also a little like soaps. its weird. but good.
