Miley Cyrus wants to perform with Coldplay

Featured Replies

Thom Yorke is NOT a jerk when it comes to his fans. I have met him 4 times, and he was as nice as could be. On their last tour, he came outside the Artist Entrance and spent 10-15 minutes talking with his fans and signing autographs. He does have his quirks, which are well documented, but it is not true that he is unfriendly toward his fans, and I can attest to this from my own personal experiences.

For the record, I think Radiohead should have met Miley Cyrus. I am not privy to the particulars, but I don't see any reason for turning down someone who is a fan of your work. That's one of the things I like best about Coldplay - those guys go out of their way to take time with their fans. Miley probably feels that she has a closer attachment to Chris Martin than she actually does because Chris most likely went out of his way to be warm and make her feel welcomed, and that's the way it should be.

I can't stand Miley Cyrus. I thought it was funny when Radiohead told her to fuck off. She is used to having people do whatever she wants when she wants it and when Radiohead told her 'No' she threw a fit and came off looking like a spoiled brat.

Not to be a bitch, but I just don't think she's talented enough to collaborate with them. If anything, she could probably benefit from it, but Coldplay, please, just...no.

Anything but this! If Cyrus dueted with Coldplay, that would absolutely KILL the band. They'll never live it down.

P.S - Everyone knows Coldplay are higher than that. Cyrus is equal to the cheeky girls.

Hahahahaha! NEVER gonna happen :laugh3:

...I hope...:\

NO. It's not gonna happen.

Don't get worked up about this, people. It's not going to happen.

I just don't think it's fair that she gets to 'hang out' with Chris, while his true fangirls may never meet him. :P

she will probably try to bride them with some nude photos of herself

pics which im sure they would vomit all over ....

AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angry::angry:

ya i see that she was joking about actually bringing radiohead "down" but i listened to her lil radio convo and just the idea that she brought it up and seemed to whine about it and try to make radiohead look bad on air like that was annoying. she just shouldnt have said anything about radiohead not meeting with her, it was like she was wanting symphathy from the interviewers...."O poor nice lil miley just wanted to meet radiohead and they were mean and didnt want to see her..." its just annoying....

See, I agree with this. Granted, she was joking, however, it was in poor taste to bring it up. There are some things that just don't need to be said...even in jest.

And I don't understand Miley. She was going on and on about how Radiohead was favorite band (before this Grammy incident) but now it's Coldplay? *sigh* She wants to paint herself as a legit artist, but she's not. She's a Disney drone, and one that has sense of entitlement at that. She may be big in the teenybopper world, but she doesn't understand that her "sparkle" doesn't transcend into the world of adult music made by adults. I can understand why Thom Yorke wouldn't want to meet her. I wouldn't want to meet her either.

I hope to GOD that Coldplay doesn't collaborate with her.

This entire Miley Cyrus thing is funny to me. My feelings are ones of complete indifference, but there are some people that are really mad at even the thought. I always thought she was popular in a benign type of way, but it seems that there are a lot of people who have a genuine dislike for her.

I always saw her as a Disney-type character, and I am no more mad at her than I would be at Mickey, Goofy, or Donald. Of course, I don't think Coldplay should collaborate with them, either.

whatever, if people here are allowed to tear Miley Cyrus to bits, then I should be able to say that I think Thom Yorke is a major asshole. They don't do "meeting fans?"

Their fans are the people who support them and keep them going. They should be thankful that they even have fans.

I totally get what you're saying, but somehow, I just don't see Miley Cyrus really being a fan of them. I honestly don't. I think she says she's fan, but I'm willing to bet that she doesn't own all their albums (the way a true fan would). Something just tells me that.

It's just media hype, just like most of this type of thing. She probably just mentioned that she liked the music and they just turned it into something else to get a better story.

I'm not a fan of hers but I think everyone needs to remember she's still just a kid. She's grown up in the media spotlight and she gets given a really hard time. The media/gossip sites etc are really unkind about her I can't even begin to imagine how hard it would be to grow up with everyone saying how much they hate you and how terrible you are. Being a teenager is hard enough without that kind of personal criticism. I'm not saying what she does or says is great, but she's still young so people should be a bit more forgiving. Her life is constantly in the media, who blow every little things she does out of proportion to turn it into a good story. Look at Gwyneth and Chris. Everyone is really unkind about them and 99% of it is total garbage.
