Trust?

Featured Replies

Ok, how fast do you trust people? Is it easy to become your friend or are you a rather sceptical person?

I'd say I'm a really sceptical person. It takes a long time until I fully trust somebody. And there is only one person I totally trust: My mum.

I can usually tell whether I can trust some or not. The first time I meet a person is basically the only time I judge anyone but you know you have to do it. Personally I don't trust anyone who takes drugs, drinks (because we are underage) or does stupid things. I trust a person based on their values.

same here.

i always tried to avoid people that could get me in troubles, and i was never wrong, they always attract troubles :dozey:

and it takes a bit of time to get to know me too.

but i don't go trusting people just after meeting them either (as some of my friends have done :dozey: ), i wait some time to can know for sure that i can trust them.

^^ You know he'll always be there for you.

Ari @ Im sort of a very different person to most. I can't really imagine how people would percieve me if they didn't really know me. They'd probably think of me as the really smart guy who is gay and sings a lot. The fact is: Im not gay and that the only reason I don't have a million girlfriends like everyone else is because I treat women with respect and not like they are a takeaway meal that you can consume and throw away. The gay bit probably is also spured on by my eccentricity and enthusiasm plus the way I dance and sing all the time. Really Im just like chris. Im also the church guy but that image doesn't really worry me.

oh this guy and his drug jokes :uhoh: (and i refer to paul of course).

It's hard to trust some people here... I mean... I just think that some people take advantage of the "virtual" side of this forum to invent their lives... I'm not taking aim at anyone of course

Anyway... In real life, I trust only my closest friends and my family ;)

Trust too much people will always get you into trouble :\

respect!

yeah, i believe i have a good knowledge of human nature.

and i trust many people because i know i can trust them.

i don't know what people have to do so i can trust them. i just think i can or i can't. it's an instinct.

I think I trust people too fast, and if I do, there's never really any good "test" for me to see I can trust them...& therefore I've been hurt a bunch of times because of that, and now after 20 years of doing that, I think it's almost impossible for me to really truly trust anyone right now, which of course, sucks. I guess the only people I do trust are my parents, but then again they've done things that totally violated my privacy, like read my journal because they didn't believe me, things like that. Why is trusting so hard!?

I'd say I'm a really sceptical person. It takes a long time until I fully trust somebody. And there is only one person I totally trust: My drug dealer.

It happens all the time.... some of my 'friends' think I am the most boring person in the world cuz I don't go out at night and get drunk, or cuz I am not desperately looking for a boyfriend.... the thing is that when you're not following what everyone else around you do, you turn out to be a weirdo/freak/bored/gay (like Bryce said) to those ppl eyes which is so wrong, I think is great that we still are ourselves no matter what everyone says, as long we feel comfortable with who we are and what we do fuck the rest!

Sometimes I find it really, really hard to fully trust people and sometimes I feel like I can't really trust my mom (which I know is dumb, but I can't help it... personal reasons involve), but I do ask her for advice whenever I feel I can't handle any situation... I also trust my best friend, it didn't took me that long to trust him. but I guess is a one in a million thing what happened with him.

Oh Paul  I'm there with you actually...

And even then, i don't trust him!

I'm a skeptical person.... it's really hard for me to trust someone, it takes time before i open up truly....

Your personality is quite nice then, and you seem better than most of the guys I know.

THIS

I find it hard to trust somebody. I used to trust people more a few years ago but it didn't turn out well. I feel better this way.

I easily trust people. But only those I'm friends with. I do keep certain things to myself but I don't have much to hide and I rather see others to accept me as I am, not as someone who appears to be faultless.

trust...

i kinda trust all of those i consider my friends, maybe some of them more than others,

but in my real life i trust my best friend more than the others which is normal :P

i can also say that i trust easily

in coldplaying:

actually i have some friends on here, sure i can't trust all of them, but actually i have trust in one person here more than the others, and i really love this person, my best friend on here :nice:
